Big Brother 21

First impressions are it is another strong cast. Should be a good season.

I'll play along, but the minute someone puts up something from the live feeds or something they saw on Entertainment Tonight, et al, I'm done.

Some delicious eye candy. I think Wyoming girl had those jeans spray painted on. Little Latina soccer girl looks like a real hottie.

Good twist to start the season.

Why do they always bring in a old guy? You know he can't win any comps. I always feel sorry for these guys, because even if they last more than a week, they will be isolated by the other hard bodies.

 

Agree and mentioned that last season. Waste of a good spot. Could bring in another good competitor.

 

Awe....my summer entertainment for sure. Cute theme this year with the summer camp. Looks like the usual covering of demographics and ethnicity. If they have to have the “token” old guy, they should have at least a few more houseguests in that age range to make the playing field somewhat fair. I suspect Jackson will put up Cliff as one of his four nominees for the first competition. Jack and Jackson both seem full of themselves. Will be interesting to watch that duo/bromance. Glad to see a plus size model for a change.

I agree with Breeze about the older guy. of course, does' not help that he is uncool either. Just try to blend in and be a good guy and let them pick off someone else until they realize that you are an asset. Look at Evil Dick. he was older but got their respect.

Looks like a decent cast, Funny how already there are some I cannot stand and want them to go,

 

Just send the Jason Mamoa guy my way and I’ll be happy.

 

Chicken George was an older cast member and he lasted quite a while. The odds are against them but its nice to root for the underdog when they make a run.

 

Anyone watching? Who is you favorite so far?

 

It is early, but so far has the making of some of the more boring seasons where you saw once alliance control things and a ton of unanimous votes.

 

My early favorite is Nick the therapist from New Jersey.

 

Appears to be an interesting cast. Seem to be plenty of ass hats to keep it interesting.

Getting the game going early I like that. Seem to be plenty playing the game hard, though the players early typically do not win.

 

Camp Comeback similar idea as Survivor Edge of Extinction (except for better living conditions).

Hopefully, Grateful 8 alliance crumbles soon. So far, quite a snooze fest for me (but will keep on watching). Glad Cliff is still around...I have a soft spot for the underdogs.

 

Michie is one smarmy bastard. I hope Kat burns his ass.

 

Hard to argue with that take on Michie, though I think you are being generous to him. In the end I think he will be unable to hold off all the ones that he he back stabs. Would not mind Kat taking him out, though not certain she has the game to do so.

Like the Camp Comeback plan, see if any of them actually take advantage of being in the house. Not certain what being relegated to the room is for, do not see the harm in them watching comps.

As for the snoozefest, my thought it is off to a better start than last year. Though yes gr8tful, needs to come tumbling down, or at least the others need to figure it out. I think it was Ovi talking to Kat about alliances, she denies there are any, his comeback was something like. "If you do not know about the alliances, that just means you are not part of them."

 

I always pick someone during the first show introductions to root for... before they even enter the house. This year Sam, the trucker, is my guy! I like where he's at so far. He's shown the ability to compete and has managed to avoid the early alliance crap, while not pissin' people off... yet.

 

Anyone else think Kat is related to Rachel Riley? she reminds me of her so much

 

I think it will be a snooze fest mostly

 

She hasn't cried yet, has she? She did drive everyone crazy with "Are you bitches conspiring against me?"

 

Got to thinking about the game today and who actually wins.

We have seen enough to know that it is not the timid quiet one. Also it is usually not the only playing hard since day one.

So if we had to design the ideal winner, what would the traits be?

 

Able to convince everyone individually that they are going to the end with them.

Slyly avoid getting blood on their hands.

Good at competitions but smart enough to know when to throw one.

Has at least one deeply trusted confidant who will always vote in your favor.
