Brandon took good care of us last time we were there (for World Cup).

 

We all made it in and I have managed to get my butt kicked in record time. Flight was fine but the twins had ear problems with take off and landing. Other than that and well two diapers change each it was a nice flight

Las Vegas baby equipment rental is awesome. Met us at baggage claim with car seats and dropped the rest off at Bally’s. Such a nice lady.

Room is the exact location as last trip so no room photos. Due to the arrival and delays I went down for takeout. Pan Asian ...... that won’t happen again . As an old buddy used to say. It will make a turd but just barely

 

Day one is a wrap and the twins were up at 5am as planned. Me playing Miss Stud until 2:30 wasn’t planned. Working on my second cup of coffee

Twins and I watched the sun pop out from behind the mountains which is always a great moment. I am just not usually up in time.

Now they are playing with all the toys from baby rental. It’s like Christmas since the toys are new to them.

It’s a little cold this morning but I think we are stilL going for a walk about before Giana’s brunch at 9am. Not sure if the rest of the group will be up.

Back to last night, I helped get the twins ready for bed and made numerous calls to get their rollaway beds in time for bed. Vons delivery was 5-7 so I went down to play a bit and wait. Brother of SoSF arrived and we tried the new bar while visiting with PO. My son tried the Povert which he said was very good but too fruity for him. While there a guy walks up and asks for Po to get his drink. Seems he was on four square and it recommended stopping in for one

Vons was over an hour late and several items out of stock. Overall still a great way to stock the room. We tried a bit of HL black jack and all won a little money. SoSF wasn’t feeling it on Bally VP so we went over to Paris and got a butt kicking. Rest of the crew went for food and bed while I chose Miss Stud. Actually won a little over $300.

So today’s starts with getting the twins ready, walk about until Giada’s at 9.

 

PO is a legend! We made a special family trip to Ballys 10 days ago to see him and show the family the first hotel we stayed in Vegas in 1982! Both were as remembered and the newly legal grandkids are now hooked. Upper level of the Lobby Bar was our meeting place. PO, Cody and the bartender from New York were so nice to them (after checking ID's). Gustav's at Paris was loved because of the pina colada's. Kids won, we lost and had a blast. Hope you have a great family trip also!

 

Giada's. I got the Pizza Carbonara, and highly recommend it. Everyone tried it and liked it best. WifeofSonofSandsFan got the Lobster hash, it was bland. SandsFan got the Chicken dish (Cavatelli), said it was pretty good.

BrotherofSonofSandsFan didn't make it... too much fun last night. Brother, wife, and I ended up at the place next door to YongKang around midnight... i sipped on waters while he pounded beers and vodka sodas... so no surprise he wasnt up for our 9am breakfast reservation [emoji42]

 

After Giada’s we stopped by bar area to say hi to the bartenders and manager we have known since it opened. We bring the twins by so they can see them. Both were being very shy today. SoSF and his wife stayed while we came back to put the twins down for a nap

Hopefully there will be some VP porn today.

 

Not gonna see any VP porn from me. Wososf just got 4 aces, but alas, no kicker. (She's playing $0.25 tdb).

I'm playing 4 card keno, just got a five spot.

 

Po is the man! He was tending bar when I got in, but I wasn't quite ready for his signature drink, it's dangerous [emoji2957]

 

Wososf switched machines and found those aces again... and the kicker!

Monticristo bar was fun but no quads. Bummer. Maybe we will play on the floor awhile

 

Just bought a couple sticks at Montecristo, learned they are implementing a $10 cut fee starting January 1st.. wah wah. can't say I blame them, cut fee's are pretty standard

 

Damn tease. Nice hits from the daughter in law though!

Is montecristo bar only dollar plus for VP?
I really like seeing the improved paytables... but not if it's only dollar plus.
