I have fallen in love with your TR and in you I have found my DDB (if not TDB) UX soulmate + my favorite liquor is tequila. Love your photos and all of the activities. All warm my heart and agree, your spirit is infectious. Sorry about your hubby but your even "holding your own" playing UX (I play the game sometimes 6-10 hours a day in Vegas so I know!) is a major win and if you come out ahead, that's great.

And yes, the game is addictive. Knowing that the next hand could have 5 or 10 hands times a 8, 10 or 12 multiplier (I often play 10 play quarters, 5 play quarters or half dollars and some times 3 play/5 play if I am up dollars) is great. I sometimes close my eyes after I draw and if I hear a ding I know I got something. Hearing silence -- meaning not even getting a jacks or better -- SUCKS! But the winning hands can be amazing.

I don't want your trip report to end so please stay in Vegas longer.

And where is that tequila bar where you had the flights and the other place?

Edited to add: One other game I discovered, which I should only play in nickels or dimes, is UX Bonus Streak. It is insanely volatile. Wynncore only has it in quarters. It is UX on steroids. Almost too volatile so as to not be "fun" as the money can go poof so quickly. Had a brutal run on it in November at Wynn but had a blast and won a little bit on it playing 10-play nickels and dimes at Flamingo. Curious if you have tried that game and Tring, if there are special play considerations for that one.

 

I love Bonus Streak!! I played at hard rock and won on dueces a few years ago! They have it at Bellagio outside the sports book too! For sure soulmates!!!

It happens. I jump around among all of the games you are playing. It sucks getting Prem Quads on BP but sometimes on Ult X when you are running cold you gotta play a little BP to slow it down.

Yeah that game is swingy as all heck.

Strategy is a bit different than normal UX strategy with the most significant change to be a naked gut shot to be worth higher than a high card since it can get a streak when you convert.
