Like all of you I absolutely love Las Vegas. It’s my favorite place on the entire planet. I enjoy this and another board for the interesting discussions by people who share my passion for all that is Vegas. Until recently I never realized there’s so much Vegas stuff on you tube. Vloggers and regular people who share their videos. I have been incessantly watching them for a week now. It really is getting me super hyped about this trip. Funny thing is when I’m watching those videos I usually know exactly where they are while they film it. Anyway I have a strange feeling I’m not alone with this video obsession. Can’t wait !!

YouTube is SUPERB for getting room tours/information. That's my favorite aspect of Vegas YouTube - if there's a room type in an major casino-hotel YouTube probably has video of it, and in most cases, multitudes of them. So even on an MGM Grand King room, you can see oodles of examples/views/etc. Also great for video of those hard to locate spots and shortcuts.

I absolutely agree, the "Trooper97" does a daily volg and he's really good about showing HD shots of the strip and Fremont. The other one that is really good is called "Living in Las Vegas" which does HD casino tours and off the strip stuff. They are a couple that lives in LV, but caters to touristy youtube videos. Both volgs help me with my Vegas withdrawal.

It's a GREAT resource. Especially for room tours. Then of course for other misc Vegas related activities.

I subscribe to trip vloggers Nicky Furmage, Matt Bridger, and TeamClaireVlogs

I find it very hit-or-miss to find other vloggers that I enjoy as much as those three!

I discovered the YouTube videos in 2014. Did a search on Vegas and thousands popped up. I blame the videos for my change from mostly gambling at the tables to now being mostly a slot player! Lots of good stuff and variety too from the slot videos, casino tours, room tours, food recommendations, Fremont freak-show videos.... something for everyone. They even have "$20 Trick" videos (don't get the point of that but that's a whole different conversation)... there was this funny one where a guy is jazzed that he just did his $20 thingy and was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite... he got in the room and it was a standard 2 queen room with a partial view - he opened the bathroom door thinking it was the second bedroom! Kudos for him for posting the funny video!

    Hey Hey!!!

If you are a YouTuber who films room videos, may I make a suggestion:

PLEASE "widen your angle". All of those "close up shots" of the various amenities are awesome, but when you're done showing all of those close ups - save some time for some perspective shots that show the spaciousness (or lack thereof) of the room:D It seems that many miss this aspect of room filming - they want to show all the tricks but sorta leave out the room......

If I could post this in public somewhere that all YouTubers would see it, I would - the best I could think of is here:goofy: But if it does some bit of good to spread that word, it will make a great resource even better.

As has been mentioned, TheTrooper97 and LILV (Living in Las Vegas) are good vlogs to get your Vegas fix.

Trooper moved to Vegas a few years ago to play poker for a living. He does play poker a lot and he talks about it quite a bit but his vlog is more about his life, living in Vegas and doing his own thing.

LILV is a good resource for info on all the places in Vegas.

Another one not yet mentioned is PokerKraut. He is another "poker vlogger" but he will also show you Vegas related information, he's not just about Poker. He is kinda like Trooper in that aspect. I'm behind on watching his vlogs, but where I last left off he was trying to get tips from locals on their favorite places and he may even go to check out those places so you can see them too.

Those are the three that I try to watch, but I have a hard time keeping up. I have also searched for Vegas Strip Walk. Some of those videos are long, but if you've got time to kill it is pretty good to watch. It's almost like walking the strip, and your feet don't get tired! 4K Vlogs is one that will post strip walks. He isn't from Vegas and doesn't do strictly Vegas content, so you only get videos when he has gone to Vegas.

Others that I've seen but haven't checked out or haven't checked out in detail are: VegasInfoNL, JoyVegas, Armen Hunanyan, Jonathan Santos.

I watch almost all of those already mentioned, but my favourite Vegas Vlogger is Andrew Neeme.

He's a poker player, but has managed to strike a really good balance between poker, and sights/places in Vegas, too.

All You can Vegas.(The fried chicken man as the gf calls him) Slot Lady, Brian Christopher are a few we watch most. The one lady with the foreign accent that does room/casino reviews. Seems to come up a lot. We watch on Roku so there's no way to subscribe at least not that I've found so we just randomly jump around usually ending up watching Buffalo videos lol.
As soon as we decide to visit a casino or some other place after looking it up here usually youtube is the next option.

I recently started to follow Neeme, but haven't had time to actually watch one of his videos. I've heard its good to watch to get good insights into poker. I wasn't aware of the "vegas porn" on the side. I'll have to figure out how to make time now.

I tired Jacob's Life in Vegas, but found it too dull. He does some interesting stuff, and has a lot of content, but the content that appeals to me is a small portion of what he uploads, but I can see where a lot of his videos would be of interest to others.

The Living in Las Vegas folk aren't always pumping out exciting/fascinating content, but overall I like their content a lot better. Their exploration into abandoned motels and rail cars in the desert are among my favorite. They also find their way into the hotel rooms of Binion's, which is more interesting than I would have thought. That's probably my favorite video of theirs.

i just started watching Living In Las Vegas -- i like a lot of their videos because they take their time and dont edit out a bunch of things when touring a casino. i would ideally like walkthrough videos that show as much as possible and i can skip over things myself. sometimes they indicate what day of the week and time the videos are taken and that is good i wish they did that for all of them so you can get a sense of what a casino crowd is like on certain days and times.

i used to watch Trooper sometimes but not much anymore -- he seems more interested in just selling hats or whatever but any useful or even entertaining content is disappearing. i like his 360 poker table videos but those are only fun to mess around with for a few minutes.

i just found the Jacob in Vegas channel and couldnt get into it because he spends 10 minutes saying something that could be said in 2 minutes.

some of my other favorite walkthroughs besides #LILV are from a channel called 4k VLogs and one called DTBenefits which i think only has a small number but i like that she goes through everything and doesnt edit it to only show certain things.

I watched less than a minute of the Trooper... I’d like to shoot him in the face.
