    My Trip Report

    Hello VMB,

There will be an active trip report from Saturday 5/5 @ 5AM PST to Saturday Evening 8 PM PST which is approximately 16 hours. It will be immediately followed by a semi-active trip report running from Saturday 8:01PM PST to Sunday ~3-4 PM PST depending on how much Vegas fatigue has settled in.

TRAVEL: Southern California -> Las Vegas
    LODGING: AirBnB in Sun City
THEME: EXTREME LOW ROLLING COUPON RUN
    BANKROLL: $800
REALISTIC LOSS LIMIT: $400..I really hate leaving with nothing :D
    AGE: MILLENIAL UNDER 30

Will attempt to post photos and videos of all of the casinos that I visit. I will try to track how much and which coupons I have won via this spreadsheet

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lLP4JzDOI53yMhT8ZPGzKOnSjigT_E25jjZy3EKwOvY/edit#gid=155387483

Please feel free to follow along. I am hoping that I’ll at least break even (if not strike it rich) during this short trip report. I'm actually staying in Vegas until Tuesday but won't be able to have a live trip report.

I am planning on visiting Henderson, Boulder Highway, and North Las Vegas casinos. The second half of the trip report will feature casinos west of the strip and some of the casinos near the strip (and downtown).

As a person also under (just under, as my boyfriend likes to remind me) 30, I applaud you! I have wanted to take a trip like this, but I love Vegas too much to do just "x hour" run from San Diego.

Have a blast, eat good food, and win some money!

Don't forget the WIN cards at Circus Circus ($30 for $45), NYNY ($20 for $30) and MB ($20 for $30). I paid $70 total for these three and ended up cashing out $210 playing them all at craps pass line.

I will be actively following your TR, then transitioning to semi-actively as my bride adds more items to my weekend "honeydew" list! :faint:

    I wish you a wonderful adventure! :D

beautiful view of the sunrise. Watching the sun illuminate the desert is always a great sight for me. It also signals that I'm about to be in Las Vegas woohoo!

I stopped here last time just to check out to place and I found a mini craps table at Buffalo Bill’s. I love craps and it’s fun to not have to chuck the dice so far so headed back here for a super quick session.

YouTube link of me spinning the Cash Wheel prize - and getting $20.00!! Awesome.

Next onto Boulder Highway to Longhorn and Sam's Town (maybe Eastside Cannery). I'm not super comfortable playing blackjack basic strategy from memory yet but will have a little card to assist. Reporting back in a bit.

One of the entrances of Emerald Island Casino. Really clean casino with nice bathrooms and fair games.

If you’re ever in Henderson, visit here and gamble/eat something! The staff is super friendly.

    Onto the Longhorn.

    VMB Post Part #5

First Stop - Longhorn Hotel and Casino

    upload_2018-5-5_14-14-52.jpeg

I came here once before and it was definitely a big contrast to some of the newer casinos. Definitely a little bit rougher than some of the million dollar joints.

    Coupon : $5 Matchplay
    Coupon : Free Ace
    Blackjack
    Buy In : $20.00
    Cash Out: $26.50

    upload_2018-5-5_14-32-3.jpeg

    Bought in with $20.
    Hand #1 - dealer busts with a 23 and I have an 18
    Hand #2 w match play - dealer has a six whole card; I stand on a 14. Dealer flips over a 2 (8), 7(15), and....6 for that 21. I lose
Hand #3 Free Ace - dealer skips me first for the Ace and then deals a JACK OF SPADES for the free blackjack
Cash out with $27.50 with $1 tip for dealers

Coupon : Pay $5; Get $10 Free Play
    Slot: Invaders from Planet Moo-Lah
    Buy In : $5($10.00)
    Cash Out: $0.60
    upload_2018-5-5_14-48-7.jpeg

I don’t typically do well with slots but figured I would try it out. Lost $9.40 with no major wins.

Notes : longhorn kinda cleaned up
Not as shady looking as last time but definitely still a dive

Second Stop - Sam's Town Casino

    upload_2018-5-5_14-52-37.png

    Coupon : $10 Freeplay Slots
8/5 Triple Play Bonus Poker at Winchester Bar

    Buy In : $20.00 + $10.00 Freeplay
    Cash Out : $46.25

As I was trying to get this machine to work, I accidentally played my first hand without meaning to. I was dealt two tens and drew a trip, two pair, and a full house! What luck! It put me up for the session.

Any idea what a Whammy represents on the wheel? Would you win nothing?

I have been to the Longhorn once in my life and they gave me a Grandma’s Cookie for signing up for the slot club. Free, and my choice of flavor; just like if someone had recently thrust their boot through the front of the vending machine.

Thanks for what you shared! It was fun to see places I haven't visited yet. I can't tell for sure on the Emerald Island wheel but it looks like $10 free play is the most common prize? And is it all freeplay or is there also $10 food credit and stuff like that?
