Since you mentioned radio commercials, I've always been annoyed by that Zyppah commercial by the guy who sounds like a Bronx butcher, but now they have a singing version! :( :( Much worse than the original!

Say what you need to say, by John Mayer. I can only pick up one station in my office and when that song was popular they played it to death. I counted once, he said "Say what you need to say" 36 times during that song. :bang:

Also, House of the Rising Sun. Not so much whether the song is good or bad, but my older sister thinks it's the greatest song ever. I hate if it ever gets mentioned in her presence, because she feels the need to recite her rendition and thinks it's so funny when she does.

    Two great posts here !
"Kars For Kids" .........God, I hate that !.....with the guy doing his best Johnny Cash voice
I can't reach the volume knob fast enough
    -
"Santa Claus To Town" Springsteen.......God I hate That !.......the fake laugh at the end....ugh !
    Played out !......sorry Springsteen fans.
    -
My friend started up a band ( of older guys ) - he added "Sweet Home Alabama" to his set.
I asked "Why ?.......you might as well play 'Stairway To Heaven', too !"

I never tire of Imagine - #1 of my top five :love::love:

I come unglued at high pitched screeching music - can't name any cause I block them out but like the one @Electroguy563 mentioned 'Loving you'?

You Light Up My Life could easily be the reason I switched to FM.

I don't like the recent song "Rise Up"
It seems like it gets inserted into any scene that's supposed to be moving and inspirational.

Anything by Brad Paisley. And I generally like country music! I mean do we really have nothing left to sing about other than picking ticks off somebody?

Just a few off the top of my head:

    I Wanna Be a Cowboy
    Achy Breaky Heart
    The Macarena
Jump Around my House Of Pain
Insane In the Brain by Cypress Hill

edited the last two based on correct info posted below.

I can understand how that would be annoying but Eric Burden could sing his ass off! I love me some Animals but "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is probably even better than House of the Rising sun.

I remember back in the 80s one of the radio stations locally had a parody commercial for a Debbie Boon's Greatest Hits album. It went like other greatest hits commercials where they talk about a groups hits one after the other and play a clip of each but every song was "You Light Up My Life."

That's House of Pain. But I can see why you'd think Cypress Hill, they used some similar effects.

Ah, indeed you are correct. I was actually mashing two songs that make me cringe. "Jump Around" and "Insane In the Brain" by Cypress Hill which I think does use that sound, now I can't remember if Jump Around does also.
