    Hello guys,

This upcoming trip (next week! Yes!), I'll be taking one of my best friends. She's not a big gambler so I offered to treat her to a spa day. Wanted to get VMBer's input on a couple of the spas there.

On sheer amenities alone, I was looking at Aria - because we're staying there, and on top of services, you have...
    • the pools,
    • heated stone bed,
    • Eucalyptus steam room
    • Shio salt room
    • seperate co-ed spaces
Then I read about Qua Baths & Spa at Caesar's Palace. Facilities access is included if you purchase a treatment - so I was looking at their 50-minute massages and facials, but they are still a little pricey (about $200 per person):
    • They feature a Cedar suana,
    • Arctic ice room,
    • Roman baths - 3 separate tubs
    • a tea lounge with a freakin' tea sommelier!
My next train of thought traveled to the Cosmopolitan, because if I am electing to pay for spa services, I might as well get 5x the points closer to the next tier, eh? Prices were reasonable for 50-min massage and/or facial or bath. They featured some things, but it looks like I'd be sacrificing amenities for services...
    • Eucalyptus steam room
    • 1 jacuzzi
    • Cool mist room

    Thoughts, opinions? :)
Right now I'm leaning towards Aria, and wonder if they have any seasonal specials on a massage or facial - I know I've seen them at Luxor and Excalibur or other MLife resorts websites previously.

All three options are solid, but Aria is the best. Better amenities, relaxation areas, and lighting than Qua. Both Aria and Qua are much larger than the Cosmo spa

Sorry, I can offer no comparison, but did love the Aria spa. I definitely plan another visit on my next trip, even if I don't get a massage and just do a day pass.

Have been to the Qua Baths and thought it was very nice, but everyone I have spoken with indicates Aria is nicer.

All are great spas. I haven't had any services at any of them, but I buy day passes for the wet areas. Qua is the biggest and stands out for its Roman baths. Aria is probably the nicest. Sahra is also one of my favorites, but it is smaller than both Aria and Qua. I like Sahra's hot tub, cold mist room, and overall calmness of it. I usually hit up both Qua and Sahra on every trip.

Diamonds get free entry to all spas (need to pay for services of course), except Qua....diamond only gets you a reduced entry fee there.

I love Cosmo spa for their unique Hammam services but their facilities are easily the worst of the three.

IMO, Aria is the best for a pass. The Coed spaces at unique and relaxing and the infinity pool is great. Their steam room is perfect.

If you got to Aria get a Hot Stone Massage from Susan; it will change your life.

Vote for The Bathouse @ Delano.
Also a longer shot - Palms Place - they sometimes have specials. A great spa that rivals the above - just far away.

Any of your choices above are winners.

For a day pass? IMO, that's probably the last place I would go on the Strip for a spa day pass. The amenities are basic, the steam room temps vary wildly, there are very few lounge seats, and its very dark. Those aren't good conditions for someone who wants to spend half a day lounging

My goto answer is usually - the spa in the hotel you are staying at. Why travel somewhere to relax? Somewhat defeats the whole purpose.

With Aria having a great spa, it makes the answer even easier.

Thanks for all of your input guys! Sounds like Aria is the way to go - and it's a plus that we'll be staying there. :)

    Super excited for next week!

I agree - it is a "no brainer" since you are staying there. Good luck!

    To each his own.

This may be why I like it so much as others may feel the same. I have been a half dozen times and an usually the only one there - most I have seen there is 3-4 ppl.

Not sure about steam room temps as have been fine when I use them.

The look of the place is different but I do like that about the place.

Been to MB/Qua/Cosmo/Aria and a few others and the Bathhouse has always been good to me - good luck on your search.

Being the budget minded person who is weighing the Flamingo Spa groupon option LOL, they all sound extravagant and great to me! I agree with the spa where you are staying idea, but I might also go for the 5x points at Cosmo.

Is Qua the spa with the "snow" in one of the rooms? I've always wanted to hit it big and do their "journey" treatments, so I can be "aligned with the cosmos as you listen to the primordial sound that originated at the start of our known universe"...and then hit the casino floor!

Be sure to let us know what you pick!

I love the Aria spa, my husband and I always purchase the day pass. The salt room, stone room and balcony pool are co-ed, which we like. We go first thing in the morning and usually have the place to ourselves until about 8am. You will love it!!

Once there was a coupon on ACG I think, for free entry into Flamingo spa wet areas. I was in and out probably within 10 minutes :) I wouldn't go there even if they paid me the day pass charge in cash.

Well that's good to know. Maybe I'll break off another $40 and try the canyon ranch one instead.

Are the co-ed spaces in Aria clothing optional??
