How much longer would you expect Circus Circus to be open?

Last October was my first trip out ... My first two big mistakes were 1) Booking at Circus Circus and 2) Eating the Breakfast Buffet my first morning there.

Later in the trip I made the mistake of sitting down at a CC Blackjack table at 5:00 AM after a hot streak on the strip. I wasn't there 5 minutes and the smashed dude next to me spilled his beer all over me, the table and a bunch of cards. I was shocked that the Pit Boss came over, dried the felt with a towel, took the cards out of play, and let the guy stay.

Then there was the 5:30 AM fire alarm one morning ... but that's for another post.

I did have a couple people tell me there is an outstanding Steak House there ... but my whole goal became to try and stay out of and as far away from Circus Circus for as much as I could, so I never bothered to even be in the place when the Steak House was open.

The history of it not withstanding, what a miserable place ...

Nah, nothing as interesting, or dangerous, as that. He was a financial analyst for an insurance company that was involved with financing a good chunk of CC back in the 60s.

    :peace:
