Going Solo! Mirage 2-16 to 2-20

First trip report and I will attempt to do it semi live.

Leaving this AM for a four night stay at the Mirage. Was able to manage a few days off work but the wife couldn't so I am going solo.

Flying Southwest got an A50 boarding position so at least I can guarantee myself a window or aisle.

Will try to post pics of hopefully lots of cash and handpays!!!!

Also playing in the ARIA Twin Spin slot tournament Friday and Saturday. Shooting for that 30k first place cash prize!!

Just landed at LAS. Beautiful flight arriving 40 min early!

Resort tower room on the 25th floor with partial strip view and pool view



I landed less than an hour ago and am already in my room and unpacking.

I could get used to this having a host thing

Now to unpack and off to walgreens for my beer supply

 

Have a blast! The view of the pools from the room looks nice!

Taking a dinner break.

Forgot how long walking the strip takes even though you're seemingly going a few blocks!!

Registered at ARIA around 5 for the tourney. Boy was it crowded. Stood in like for 40 minutes but had good conversation with the other players.

The machines are not being so good to me. And neither wete the tables. I hit a few spins on the 10 and 25 dollar WoF machines but no handpays but just enough to keep me rolling. Roulette was rough.

Might just take the evening to rest and recharge and get ready to hit those buttons in the tourney tomorrow!!

 

HANDPAY!!!!!

 

First ever top prize on a spin...I have been brutally beat up on these machines but I have avenged them lol

 

Its raining now so I am UBERing back to Mirage to get ready have a few drinks before the sllt tourney at Aria.

After the 4k handpay on WoF I went over and played Euro roulette and won a grand on my numbers 12 and 24. Then got greedy did 6 spins on a 100 dollar WoF and got squat.

This was all at MGM Grand. For some reason I never seem to win at the casino I am staying at and only at neighbor Mlife resorts. Weird.

So after a brutal night on arrival yesterday I am in the black by $800. Kind of depressing thats where I am at after a 4k handpay but thats how the slots go!!

 

Got back to the Mirage and enjoying a beer in the VIP lounge. Always a mystery as to who gets access to this lounge. Answer seems to be NOIR(which I am not...only platinum) and those who are coded VIP by their host.



Its just off to the right of the normal checkin area and right off the main entrance. They have beers and sodas in a cooler and a coffee machine. Nice little area to eacape to drink a beer and relax.

Tourney was fun. I hit a good 1st session total of 17 and change but only 4 digits the next two sessions. 6pm they announce the winners so hopefully i at least get some freeplay out of day 1.

 

Played one of my favorite machines Bally Cash Wheel at the Cosmo after the tourney. 200 in, 304 out so nlt too bad considering I only spun once.

Back to Mirage to freshen up then off to the floor and check results of day one of the tourney
