There's another post that looks to the past for great Vegas traditions that no longer exist. I thought it would be nice to start a thread for everyone's new / latest Vegas traditions.

    I'll start with a few:

    1) I search out the guy who plays funky bass guitar and sings out on the sidewalk somewhere. He's usually somewhere between Planet Hollywood and MGM. The guy can play! Always worth a few $'s as a tip for someone who has actual talent.

    2) No matter what I'm doing I like to go play a bit of low-ball Texas Holdem at Harrah's Poker Room. It's particularly "interesting" to go early in the morning and soak in the atmosphere from the folks who just got done pulling an all-nighter. The hand of the hour and high hand bonuses are always a nice little thrill too.

    3) The last two trips, I've gone to Wahlburgers and ordered their Two Beef Hot Dogs all the way. It's $9.99 and they are spicy, sweet and delish! It is now an official "ThatGuyAgain" tradition.

    Your turn!

Our newest traditions started a few years ago, it is seeing 1 top notch show (Celine in April) and a dinner at a premier restaurant, thinking BLT or Strip House (worth another trip....great),. The rest is play by ear.....Rick

Can't really call it a tradition yet, but the downtown coupon free/match play tour is certainly threatening to become one.

Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi on the patio.
Visit at least one off strip property that I've never been to.
Shake Shack and Nine Fine Irishman at NYNY.
Make a futures sports bet that will keep my interest going all season. I made a fairly decent sized bet in November for the Cubs to win the World Series this year.
Meet up with some VMBers who are in LV.

I agree on MAG. Did it last trip and enjoyed it. Had to send my dish back due to an English muffin harder than an hubcap, but they took care of it right away. I'm going to get off the beaten path a bit too. Thx for these.

Visiting the fountains at Bellagio. How can you miss so much beauty when it's put in front of your face...and it's free.

About 4 or 5 trips ago I started Visiting Steak and Shake down at South Point. Before Steak and Shake I really wouldn't be caught dead at the South Point but the burgers are so good I have no problem taking a ride to the middle of nowhere.

Another tradition I have is Visiting Mr Lee's to pick up some cheap top shelf alcohol. I also like going to the Fashion Show mall and shopping for new clothes.

Another place that I recently started eating at was the peppermill after leaving the night club. It's been there forever but I never really started eating there until recently.

The Peppermill for breakfast is one tradition that I had for many years, followed by a casino crawl down the Strip which would last well into the afternoon. I got some crappy service the last time i went and it sort of turned me off and I skipped it on my last trip. I might give them the benefit of the doubt and go back. The food is very good with huge portions.

I guess we have couple traditions:
Always arrive in style in a limo - some may say it's a waste, but we have fun, so there :)
We always do one "fancy" meal - whether it's a premium buffet (Bacchanal), incredible breakfast (Tableau), or great dinner (Aureole) - it all depends
And we also try to do an activity we've not done before

Well it's not a new tradition but ... FUN!
Whenever I'm tipsy and don't want to pay for a drink,
I go to a busy craps table and wait for the waitress to come around for drink orders.
When I see her I start yelling and clapping my hands COME ON 6, COME ON 8 (I'm actually not playing)
She takes my drink order YES! When she returns I tip her a couple dollars.
I'm not cheap, just daring lol
It has worked the last 7 times I have done it.

Every trip I try to cross one more off my bucket list.
    I do a NEW/OLD list.
Stay somewhere new, eat somewhere new. See a new show and go to a new attraction.

I also try to figure out the OLDEST casinos, restaurants, shows and attractions that I've never been to and visit them before those go away for good.
If I know for sure that something is closing I'll always try to have one last experience there.

No matter where I am staying I try to get at least ONE pool day in.
I try one new exotic alcoholic drink.
I have at least ONE fancy schmancy dinner
I buy at least ONE souvenier
    Sigma Derby
    High limit
pennies session on the oldest machines I can find
play at least one coin dropper
play on the most obnoxiously large and loudest machine (usually the machines with the huge seats)
    megabucks
    new community slot
Off the beaten path...but a few hours at Ellis Island and Hooters every trip.
Get up early or stay up late to see the sunrise at least once a trip.
See the sunset at least once from a new vantage point.

Fairly "new" tradition - last 3 trips, me & vegas co-horts have played 'bubble craps'... "Press the Button! C'Mon!!"

(Oh - and thanks to 'mescalita', I may be into another new tradition - doubling for less ($1) on a hard 16 versus a dealer 10).

Our tradition has always been to go to earl of sandwhich for a hangover cure of a sandwhich and Gatorade. But now that we have eaten at eggslut I think that is the new tradition!
I would love to try peppermill or Frankie's tiki but my husband does not like to go off the beaten path.
