Looking for somewhere to stay for a week in June between 2nd-9th. Can get the Four Queens for approx $350 with tax included. I believe that the hotel doesnt have a resort fee?

Any room reviews would be appreciated - and if anyone knows what the parking situation is there that's a bonus :)

This hotel does not have a resort fee. They are one of that last hold outs. They do have their own garage with self parking. When you go into the garage you show the attendant your check in paper and they will give you a parking pass which will allow you to park there free for the length of your stay. I have stayed here twice. Its a decent hotel and casino. Great location

Couple guys I meet out there stay there every year, Adam.

Nothing flash, but great value for money, are what they always say to me.

Good clean rooms, and food options are decent enough, too.

It's a lower end hotel that's clean and right in the middle of the downtown action. There's really not much more to say. It's major selling point is that it's cheap and you can exit your room and be in the middle of the Fremont St. Experience in 3 minutes. I've stayed there several times in the last few years. I've never parked a car there so I can't answer that question.

reserve a room in the south tower if you go to bed before 2am due to noise and music from Fremont St Experience

Check your dates to see if there is a concert in the lot owned by the D behind the Four Queens. If so, it will affect the South Tower noise as well.
I always like the Four Queens, but lately I just can't get a quiet room there, or anywhere downtown for that matter.

I always valet park. Very easy. Just make sure you tell them at check-in you need a parking pass. Also, don't hesitate to try the $20 trick, fold a 20 between your ID and credit card and ask if any upgrades are available. I get a suite more often than not.

We will be checking in at the Four Queens Saturday night, May 14... around 11pm or so. I am definitely going to try the $20 trick. :)

Cheers all, gonna pull the trigger and book it I think!

Working the WSOP so not gonna be spending much time in there at all, sounds like it'll suit my needs just fine.

I did pull the trigger. My last night tonight before I check out.

Got a South Tower Room on the 9th floor. Elevators were quick (except when one bank went out of service during the weekend), casino was good, room was comfortable. Think I got a Superior room - it had separate aircon which helped! Shower is immense. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere Downtown.

Oh, one day I remember getting into the elevator on my way to the Rio for a WSOP Event, and a lady in the elevator recognised me from this thread. I have no idea who you are (sorry I didnt get your name!) but it was lovely to meet you :)

How did she recognize you? Were you wearing a name tag that read "Hi, I'm Adam from VMB".

Nah, was wearing my WSOP branded clothing and mentioned I worked there rather than playing. She put 2 and 2 together.
