LVA reported that they closed last week. I had eaten there a couple of times. With a Groupon (which there always was) it was a good value. And apparently they had some kind of Island show at night that starred Bruno Mars dad lol . Anyway, it's closed with no word on what may replace it. Maybe more shopping!

I believe he ran or managed it. If anyone has groupon, they will reimburse

Some of their Yelp and tripadvisor reviews are downright hilarious.

Good riddance. Just another example of the uninspired mallification of so much of Las Vegas eating.

No great loss. Ate there once several years ago - overpriced mediocrity.

I have to say, I'm surprised it lasted this long.. I remember everything being so sticky inside that place and the food was crap when I had it. I know others that I was with didn't mind it, but I didn't have a favorable impression.. EXCEPT for the flair bartender show that we saw one night. That was pretty sweet. Adios Kahuna

Ate there a number of times and really liked the food and price.
Sad to see this place go.
They had great sauce with their coconut shrimp and their firecracker wrap (special order) was awesome.

Surprised it held so long. Seemed like they were struggling for a long time

We would eat breakfast there once every time we stayed there. You would get a coupon for staying at the T.I. Nothing wrong with there basic breakfast..

My wife and I stayed at treasure island several times before it was sold. We always stopped in for drinks a couple of times per trip. It was cheesy and yes sticky and we loved it. I haven't been there in close to 10 years, but that news makes me sad.

My wife and I used to just love that place back when it opened. Back then they had "flair" bartenders who would put on a show for every drink, and the place had a great vibe. We went back last year and it was horrid. Food was "meh", and they had some kind of goofy show which we didn't stick around to see. So I am not at all surprised it is closed for good.

I never ate there but I did attend the "Show" portion one night with a few friends. They made a mention that the bongo player or something was bruno mars dad. I didn't believe them. guess it was true. Either way the show was decent and the female dancers were kind of hot. Glad I got to see some kitchy vegas shows. I'm a resident here now about to start my 3rd year of living in Vegas.

I was very sorry to hear this. I was hoping to visit there during my recent stay at TI, but before we left I noticed all traces of it had been removed from their website. And no one seems to know why it was closed... There are still a few remnants located around the property.

Anyone know what's coming next? I guess I'm also confused as to why the Kahunaville website is still active - of course, the OpenTable reservations link points to a page that says "Sorry, this restaurant could not be found."

Won't miss it for a minute. Ate there once and the food and service was mediocre at best. We had a Travelzoo deal and for that reason only it was an acceptable experience. But even with the Travelzoo deal we decided not to return.

This was my experience exactly. It was the first place in Vegas I ever saw flair bar tending and was fun waaaay back when, but was awful and boring the last time we went.
