Coliseum seating ?

First time to see a show at the Coliseum at Ceasar's Palace so have a question, thinking of getting tickets in the rear orchestra section in the middle but I see on the seating chart that the sound booth is down a bit from where our seats would be, is that a issue or not ?? Thanks for any help...

 

Having seen quite a few shows there, I can give you my opinion. Section 401 is not a great seat for the price. The sound booth is distracting. Even though the rear orchestra is elevated
I much preferred the first level mezz seats for the price. Also I thought the sound carried better being higher. The views are not that much better in rear orch, unless you can get the first 4 rows or so.

Exiting and entering the show more easily would be the only reason I would take the back rows of rear orch over the first level mezz. My advice would be to save yourself a few dollars if you can get something in first level mezz in A thru D, over say rear orch row G or higher. If you can get something in rear orch 3 or 5 in first five rows, these are really good seats as well.

We are really looking forward to seeing this show and we have never seen a show in the colosseum, plus this will be my birthday so it will be a special night (hopefully), could you suggest a nice restaurant for my b-day meal before the show, like for it be close to ceasar's so we can finish dinner and be close to the showroom, and to not break the bank , lol. Thanks again...

I have a question to TR customer service regarding exactly that, (i.e. How is the compa paid with RCs on the back end, and if they look at the venue before taking the RCs out and adjust accordingly?)

I posted the answer as a new thread in the comps forum. Bottom line is no, if you are dining at a 2X venue and planning on using RCs to pay they will take 2X points whether you take the comp before, during, or after the meal.

 

Around $100 for us both, no booze and probably no dessert...
