By far....Gordon Ramsey in Ceasars. It was garbage. Potato chip nachos for about $20 and a handful of popcorn for another $6. That dude can suck it!

Ruth's Chris steakhouse at Harrahs was not worth the price paid. We had 6 of us at the table and two were seven star players. The service was bad and some of the food came out cold. I would not recommend this place at all. I would however, recommend Giada's. Service and food A+

How did this fare the second time. I wanted to go here on our last visit in November but they were jackhammering in front of the place and it was so loud you could hear it inside. We left and went to Margaritaville and I was sorry we we had. Our food was just so so...nothing much to it. I am hoping Guy Fieri's was better the second time as I would like to try it this year.

Interesting how many disappointments are from TV chef and theme restaurants. I guess being telegenic, screaming at people, or playing guitar doesn't mean you know how to cook and/or provide customer value.

I was on a cruise with "Guy" -- you'd have thought that him and his son's owned the ship.

Decent enough burger at his "Guy's Burger Joint" place onboard, but it doesn't take much to improve on Carnival's stock burger offering !!

Went to his place at the Linq last week. The worst burger I have had in Vegas. Dry, Overcooked , and Cold. Shake shack was 10 times better.

Also tried the Peppermill last week. Worst chicken parm I have ever had. Drinks in the Lounge was great, food, not so much.

I Love the atmosphere especially the lounge and would drink there but
After going there twice we both had queasy tummies and the worst eggs Benedict ever!
Blah! I also was underwhelmed at Michael Mina's: guess they're not there anymore tho.

I ate there Sunday and have to agree. I had the following:

Shrimp cocktail. I thought this may be a mistake to order but it turned out to be the best thing I tasted.
    great cocktail sauce.

Smoked tartare. Good, but damn the smoke the smoke flavor. Almost overwhelming.

    Wagyu beef sliders. Ok.

    Some Scottish egg or something.

American Wagyu beef cap. Very disappointing. Tasted like a damn flank steak you would get at Winn-Dixie. Gristle pieces. Marbling, my ass.

Mac and cheese. Ok, but fairly expensive.

2 glasses of Pinot Noir. Very good.

Service was good and my main waiter was excellent. The many hostesses do seem to have an attitude. Robotic. I can't imagine dating one of these pretentious, snooty women.

The only one that was a complete disappointment was Strip House at PH. Could have had the same quality at Outback.

Other places have had their own mild disappointments, but also had dishes I loved.

Comme Ca at the Cosmopolitan. Ate there last week and was very disappointed. I only got appetizers because I was on a budget. The escargot and mushroom pie was over cooked and dry. They even made it for me again when I asked if the first one was supposed to be like that. 2nd one was just as bad. The French onion soup was underwhelming. $60 down the drain.

I'd read really good reviews on Yelp and wanted to try it before it closed in April. Should have sensed something was wrong when there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. At least the view was great. Right up against the floor to ceiling windows across the street from Planet Hollywood.

You indicated Michale Mina isn't there anymore? Is Michael Mina at Bellagio closed? When did it close?

    We loved eating there.

Is it possible some of these places like a long line to make passers by think it's a popular joint? Some of the restaurants probaly think their name is big enough that people will wait.

The 2 restaurants that were most underwhelming for me:

    1) Le Cirque - Definitely not worth what I paid for this meal

    2) Top of the World - Food was very underwhelming. Both my Strip and my wife's Filet. Also, we got sat on the side facing west of the strip, and had a poor view of the strip at the very end of the meal.
