OK, so the subject line pretty much says it all. I am Gold at Venetian/Palazzo, but as much as I love V/P, it is just "one property" and they don't allow comp status to go to Macau. Same with Cosmopolitan, so that's out.

I am Platinum level mLife, and have hosts at Mirage and MGM Grand, but I'm needing a property to replace V/P.

I also have comp privileges at the D (downtown), just because they take such good care of me.

I am primarily a slot player, but play BJ and craps on occasion. I make multiple trips to LV in a year. This year I will have made 12 trips (only because I had a good year and I'm still playing on house money)

Half the year is downtown, the other half is on the strip.

Sorry to make this so long. I am fully aware of the concept of "playing in a comfortable pool".

Should I be looking at adding Bellagio or Aria to replace V/P? Or should I just stay with Mirage and MGM Grand. I will miss the "Gold Lounge" at V/P.

    Any comments appreciated.

If going to Macau through comps from your players club is important to you I would consider Wynn/Encore...

Certainly consider Wynn/Encore, but in my experience, they look for more/bigger action at Wynncore comparable with that at the Venetian.

Agreed about Wynn/Encore, I am on their comp list but I have had such terrible luck there. . . . . .

Also keeping Platinum level mLife, but just adding/changing home casino.

Yes, we usually are able to get slow-season over the holidays comp at Caesars, but this year no-go. We're comp-surfing this year between Flamingo and (of all places) Sams Town, trying that one out to see how it works.

I prefer Aria to Bellagio. I like the casino layout and there are less people with strollers roaming through the walkways.

I think Aria is a nice choice, I would say it's better than Bellagio right now. Honestly pretty hard to replace VP since they offer so much in the way of amenities.

While I like the 5 star Mlife resorts, I personally feel more comfortable at MGM and Mandalay Bay. I like hanging out, and playing at MGM and Mandalay. MGM really has a lot to offer! I've been super impressed with my 2 trips there this year. If you've made 12 trips you have to know what you like, where do you like hanging out? What feels good to you? I hate the feeling of being forced to stay somewhere.

+1. I had a horrible experience at Bellagio a month ago. Never had an issue at Aria, even though I stayed there more than fifteen times.

I agree with the posters who suggested Aria rather than Bellagio. Bellagio doesn't have the Sky Suites. The Sky Suites are the perfect blend of modern style, technology and excellent service, plus amenities such as limo transfers to/from airport, SkySuites lounge, private check-in and elevators.
