Looking to play a little bit of poker in Vegas.

Always been on my to do list but I've never done it. That's because I generally travel with my brother who is in the poker player.

However this trip to carve out a little bit of time to hit the poker table.

As we are staying at the flamingo I thought that might be a good option. I don't want to get into long tourney that I have to commit lots of time to.

What steaks does the flamingo offer what's the minimum buying and does anyone know what times they run those games?

If you have a smart phone get the Bravo Poker Live app.

That will show you what games are running at what casinos.

Flamingo during the day usually runs 4-5 games.

Mostly 1-2 NL but maybe a 2-5 NL game as well.

I am not particularly a big fan of where the poker room is at in the Flamingo.

I would honestly suggest playing at the Bellagio, Aria or The Venetian a lot more games, nicer seating and should have some low limit Limit games running if you don't want to play NL.

They also run Limit games 2-4/4-8 limit. When I was there in February there were more NLHE vs LHE games but mid afternoon there were at least 3 LHE tables going, assuming they were 2-4 limit. I don't play Limit very much so I couldn't say for sure.

When I periodically look at bravo poker live it's always 2/4 limit or 1/2 NL. Currently there is one table of each. Flamingo is actually one of the few strip places where 2/4 actually runs.
