What’s to eat today! Show off locals favorite restaurants

Local Sichuan place. Posted from here previously. My goto is always spicy boiled fish, .. decided to try something new.

SICHUAN SPICY CRISPY BEEF 幹扁牛肉絲
Shredded Beef marinated in our spicy house sauce, deep fried, sauteed with celery, dey chili, jalapeno peppers, and topped with spicy sichuan pepper corn powder (spicy and crunchy)




Excellent, I'll order again. Wasn't quite as good as Wazuzu's crispy beef, but i liked that this version isn't sweet at all.

Bouillabaisse

 

Last week I tried a wonderful Thai place in town. It is a to go place only. No inside or outside seating. I wish I would have taken a pic. It is what you would call a hole in the wall. It is in a business district- metal buildings - plumbers electricians etc. I got pineapple fried rice. And beef Pad Thai. Big servings $40 with tip. Both were wonderful.

We have a couple of Chinese restaurants but I do not care for either. Taste is meh and loaded with salt. I sell up like a puffer fish. And I like salt. I always add extra.

She posted a pic of coming soon… Apple pie rolls. I’ll get my husband some. I do not like any kind of fruit pies.

 

When I'm back home in Western New York, everyone has their favorite place to get wings (of course). My personal choice is Audubon North Beef and Keg:

Excellent. If I had to nitpick, some of the food was very large pieces, which is unusual, could have used a knife.

Lots on the menu to return and try.

 

Had an hour class at work for Meditech expanse. For those that know about hospital medical charting - every few years they have to completely change it and do an “upgrade” which just means it gets more complicated. Anyhow went to lunch afterwards Hill & Vine. Would have been nice to sit on the patio but it was too hot& humid. We shared the pork carnitas nachos and I got the chicken sandwich. On the left corner is my Spicy berry margarita.
