Thanks for the explanation newmans! That helps a lot. So I'm trying to figure out what CET is actually looking for. Are they looking for someone who plays a lot or just a bigger player in terms of winning and losing money?

hunter could probaly answer better but a consitant player is my guess, not a hit an run like 15 minutes at the table evry few hours

the winning and loosing isnt as much to do except it comes into play with comps and descretionary comps on the back end if you take a big loss and ,lose real quickly.

and yes they did a good job explain abut your tier and how it can vary, dont wrack your brain about it sometime you can get lucky and make 500$ into a few thousand and play for 2 hours and sometimes you can bust out.

basicaly play with what ever level you comfartable with, if you think you want a meal or something extra its free to ask.thats my best advice

Back in 2008, I booked a one night stay at Excalibur. I played all day, stopping before midnight. When I asked my host for my stats (coin in, win/loss, theoretical) she gave me all of that and then said "over 2 days". I told her I only played one day and stayed one night, but she said they count check out day, too.

It seems like most casino/hotels do that now. The casinos are finding more and more ways to give us less and less for the same play.

What CET is expecting me to do is be consistent with my bankroll. That's what i have done these last few years and will again in two weeks. I only play the machines and i'm only Gold, but i haven't paid for a room in years, in my case, 15 nights per year comped (5 x 3) including Planet Hollywood in 2 weeks and again in Nov.

I gamble only at night for about 6 hours for 5 nights, roughly $1500-$2000 per trip. I don't gamble for comps, i gamble what i feel comfortable with. I don't stray from my bankroll. My bankroll is set in stone on a nightly basis. If i win a huge jackpot, that money is going into my safe. If i'm not doing so well, i'll kick back and enjoy Vegas like i have for 30+ years and then complete my task gambling till my set amount is gone for the evening. Then the next day, start all over again. On my last day i don't gamble at all, that's a travelling day. My ADT score is based on 5 nights only even though i'm in Vegas till about 4 pm on the 6th day.

People shouldn't expect being winners or losers............just prolonging a bankroll on a daily basis. But CET knows they can count on me even though i'm only Gold. That's why i get free rooms at Caesar's Palace and PHO at Gold while some Platinum players don't at Harrah's (for ex.), it's what they expect me to do while in Vegas.

I go solo and don't take offers, just free rooms. YMMV.

Hunter, first its great that you take the time to check the board and answer all these questions. Really appreciate it. I don't know if this question has been asked, so I apologize if it has.

When I go to Vegas, I don't care about fancy rooms, expensive dinners, or even going to shows. I'm a loner and degenerate for the most part. I sleep maybe 6 hours tops and spend the rest of the time gambling. The hotel could put me in a tent and I would be satisfied. Buffets are just fine by me or getting a sandwich at the deli shop is ok. I mostly play slots and mix in some BJ too. I hardly bother any of my hosts while on my vacations.... again I'm very low maintenance. Ok getting to my question. Free Play is all I care about. Can a host boost my FP if I tell them to put me in a standard room and just give me a few buffet passes?? I just pass on a lot of Vegas trips because my FP offers for Vegas are usually equal or less to what I get in Tunica or Biloxi. It cost me $500 to fly to Vegas and to me that's $500 I could use to gamble, but if a Host could boost my FP offers.....well I might be more inclined to go to Vegas more frequently. My standard FP offers are in the $500 range. So in summary if I tell the host to drop the limo ride from the airport, put me in the cheapest room, and throw me some buffet passes......Can he/she up my FP considerably??

Hats off to you for sticking to your plan. I agree that there are a lot of higher tier players that don't have your same ADT. I think that's one of the reason that Atlantic City went to charging for entry into the Diamond Lounge for players with tier scores under 25k. I was told that a lot of players would play frequently, but very small for short periods of time. They would take advantage of free play (often that was their only bankroll) and hit the diamond lounge with a guest for free buffet meals). AC diamond lounges offer a full buffet all day long, unlike Vegas diamond lounges.

Totally agree. If I'm at a table and having a good time, sitting there playing backjack well into the night is not out of the question. My last night on my most recent trip had me at O'Sheas playing BJ and drinking red bull and vodka's until 4:30 am. That 7 am shuttle pick up for my flight was rough!!

6 am to 6am would be ideal, but anything after say 2 am is alright with me

I can request it, but it takes substantial demonstration that play is increasing. It's usually a means to move up an already expected increase in offers due to recently increasing play.

There are two big groupings of players when looking at consistency. There are frequency players, that will reach a tier status based on continuously visiting a property local to them, and there are the one shot less frequent players, that will hit that same tier level based on less frequent, but larger play.

The company values both. The frequency players will get more, smaller offers, and the less frequent but larger players will get fewer, but larger offers. Hosts at local regional casinos (horseshoes, etc) work more with frequency players. Hosts in vegas put more effort into less frequent but larger players, because their play has a much larger variability that effects their value.

That makes perfect sense. I fall into the group of visiting a property close to me. Usually hit up Reno during the Summer months 3-4 times and then Vegas 2-3 times in the winter

    Thanks again

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, the player that plays at a larger amount does not have to risk as much money. The larger players have the bonus points added on when they reach a certain level.
For the same amount of money, the larger player risks X amount. The smaller player plays more often but doesn't receive the bonus. So they have to risk more to make up for the nonearned bonus points.

Hey everyone, wanted to ask for some help from you all. I work a lot with Twitter, and in fact my ads do so well that I have a personal rep that I speak to for an hour on a bi-weekly basis to fine tune my marketing. We are going to start working on using "keywords" more so than follower targeting.

My question is, if you all could encapsulate what your interests are with respect to gambling, your trips, whats important, or what would grab your attention, into one word, what would some of those words be?

I'll throw out some of the obvious keywords: freeplay, offer, comp, suite, craps, blackjack, etc. See what I am getting at? Similar to the tags below.

Milestone guys, first question I have asked all of you! Tides have turned! lol.

You've covered some of the key ones. I'd say a few others that would catch my eye would be clubs, Vegas, and party. Looking at those nine words essentially describes my gambling trips. [emoji6]
