    My Trip Report

I know most of you jokers have to wait another three or four days, but my March Madness kicks off tomorrow when LV Dawn arrives.

I'm picking her up at the airport tomorrow afternoon (in the newly refurbished and re-trasmissified Ghetto Sled), then whisk her away to her luxurious digs at the Mandalay Bay. We spend a few precious minutes doing the mandatory arriving-in-Vegas shuffle--schlepping luggage, checking her in, finding her room, etc. Then it's off to that Eden of East Fremont, the El Cortez, for an hour or two of cheap craps and urban anthropology.

Trading one set of unique fragrances for another, we end our Fremont Street Experience at the Plaza, just like Jackie intended. Dinner and drinks at the Center Stage, where I'm Kevin Spacey without the scars and she's Helen Hunt without the desperation. We've reserved the center table, so given the lack of strolling minstrels we'll opt for the entertainment on the street below.

Depending on how tired she is, we may stop by the craps table again once we get downstairs, hoping to take yet another chunk out of the casino's already slim air-freshener budget.

After that, it's back uptown to the Bay for a quick round of Spot The Hooker before I head home...

And we start all over again on Monday (while you guys are at work. Heh.) :D

Ahhh....Mandalay Bay....I love that place.....My home away from home. With the free shuttle to GVR and their Whiskey Bar and all-u-can-eat sushi at the Sushi and Sake bar, what more could a jolly vegas addict like me need?
