The handpay/call attendant screen goes away and will show what you've been paid.

I have no horse in this race. I'm just as curious about this as you are. I just thought it would be cool to have other "gambling enthusiasts" aka degenerates see something totally insane.

I think the picture was real. It was after the handpay was finished.
It's not that rare in fact. It's just a dealt royal with a multiplier .

A multihand max bet $1 STP 20x dealt royal is pretty f'ing rare if you ask me.

I would totally agree with this statement. But, I did find this on the wizardofodds page on DSTP. Makes me believe the pic is real now.

WOW! That is a dream. I've had two dealt Royals on $1 3-play this year for $12K each. The picture looks real. That pink on the upper right of the picture looks just like all the hand pays I've had, you don't actually see it when you're looking at it but it shows up in a picture. During the initial hit you will see both the actual hand and the Jackpot Please Call Attendant alternate.

;) And I also pointed out the odds of a 20X dealt royal jump to 1 in 9.74M with this rule exception certainly made due to legal reasons. It also happened at Hollywood St. Louis last November at 10-play quarters for $200k. With the rule exception, this should happen about every 15 dealt royals in the Double STP game. The big rarity, is seeing someone playing this at $70 a round while doing it. Many casinos do not even offer it at this denomination due to this $800k fluke on 10-play. Some casinos I can think of offhand where it's available for dollars (best game in parentheses)...Horseshoe Hammond (8/5 Bonus), Harrah's Joliet (shit payables), some of CET Vegas (9/5 JoB). I also go to Tunica a lot, and the highest denom for this game is 50c, (Gold Strike 9/5 DDB?).

And I'm definitely going to Hammond on Sunday to double check the high limit room. The big gambler in the group (g/f's Dad) hit a $1600 handpay at Blue Chip today, plus won $100 on top of that!!! G/f did the worst of the 4 of us by losing $7! :evillaugh

Edit: Nice hit sindustry! Until 3 weeks ago, gf and I were without multiplied Aces lifetime on STP. And that wasn't even the biggest hit! Buried in non-Vegas TRs though. Lol

But those "Progressive STP" games are shit. 6/5/3 DDB is not cool (<94%). :grrr:

I disagree with the picture, they would not pay you $800,505.00, they would only pay you the $800,000 and make you playoff the next hand ($505.00)

That's the only point of contention I can think of. That did look weird to me, and barring a miracle on that unit, I won't be able to disprove that fact in 40 hours. However, that handpay is so high, they have so many people on it and it on camera, it might be different. AND since the jackpot is SO huge, they probably took the machine apart and verified the internal workings of the machine were fair. So the normal "play off" rules may not apply in that case.

1 in 10 million isn't rare? Please explain. Have you duplicated this task while simultaneously being struck by lightning?

It's rare for sure, but Megabucks and lotteries hit too. Volume, volume, volume! And if it happens to me, I hope I have an unlikely justifiable reason to be playing dollars when it happens!

And pure luck...all of my big slot wins were hit before I became a slot player...just fed enough for one or two spins and BAM...payday! Now that I have become more of a slot player, the handpays seem to get smaller and smaller...lol.

Bah, that's the story no one wants to hear. We want you to win!

I've imagined 20X jackpots, but the dreams are usually only for $4k, because I really don't play this for quarters unless I'm at South Point. :(

But on Sunday, I'll play one hand for one line at dollars at Hammond on 9/6 DDB. And hope to get "Wolf Run" in the reflection of the pic win or lose. Who knows, maybe I'll win 80k! [emoji12]

I hope you do hit 80k! That would be freaking awesome!

I still haven't crossed over to playing VP seriously yet...guess I'm hoping I will get some lucky high-paying hits before I really start learning the game...lol.

Interesting that DSTP has a slightly lower average bonus.

One thing that was surprising the first time I realized it is that if you get two multipliers you in effect get an extra plus one on one of them:
If you get a single 2X multiplier (on either deal or draw) you win one extra bet, not two.
But if you get a multiplier on the deal and then a 2X on the draw, the 2X on the draw gives you 2 extra bets.
(Assume you win two hands both paying one unit. In one case you get a 2X multiplier on each hand ; in the other you get two 2X on one hand and none on the other. In the first case your total payout is 4, the second is 5.)

When you include that effect, the bonuses for STP and DSTP become pretty close.

Yep. If the multiplier probabilities were left the same as STP, it would have typically added 0.87% to the game vs. 0.50% after the multipliers and the dealt royal w/deal multiplier = 20X. IGT probably thought 0.87% was too much. But if you play regular STP with the double STP multipliers, it would only add 0.05%. So I don't recommend betting 6 on a Double STP game if an STP game exists with the same paytable.

LOL . What Mr. Chow said + 1. DDB Double STP is my favorite game, with every other VP and slot game being a distant second. I've been playing it for years and, until now, NEVER knew about the automatic 20x multiplier with a dealt royal. So in the future I'll be wishing for a dealt royal. :)

    "Wolf Run" in the reflection.

Decided to put a lucky $21 in the machine instead. But not lucky. All I got. :(

Within the bank at least. This is the middle unit that also has the game (ultimate x shown though).

Some good news...I dug out of the little hole I made by trying to play!
