New Year's Resolutions

I will stop being the Widow Brown's mindless sex toy.

I don't make resolutions.

 

spoil my grandchildren when they arrive in April and May. (finally one I can accomplish)

 

I will survive 2017.

 

I'm gonna leap off one of the parking garage roofs in AC but,since I never kept any New Years resolutions in the past I guess I'll forget about this one like all the rest.
The good think is AC isnt very crowded and We never have to park up on the roof just in case . Maybe I'll valet it for a while .

 

Retirement at the end of 2017!!!

 

My resolution is not to play 6:5 blackjack even with friends who want to play low-limit where 6:5 is the only available table.

 

To stop doing so much for everyone else and start doing more for me. (I make this resolution every year.)

 

Ever see/stay in Harrah's Atrium rooms? Just that wide- open circular space around the rooms with a railing and a floors jump down.There's tables down there but for the life of me have no idea what floor or section/room of the hotel it is located.Kinda scary looking down if you are on a high floor.Surprised some drunks have not fallen off with some horseplay,whathaveyou..

I am conscience - that I need to stretch / exercise more during the winter months.

 

Diet!

 

I thought a swan dive off the Stratosphere would make a better impact (pun slightly intended). I'm not much on making New Year's resolutions, but have made the following:

- Get a new significant other (or at least a new girlfriend, bed buddy, etc.)
- Move into a nicer place (Atlanta, south FL, or Vegas)
- Get a new car (or at least new tires)
- Become comfortable and competent at Texas Hold'em and play in a casino before 2018.
- Publish (or give away) my super-duper gambling simulator and book

Accomplishing any of the above would be … well, an accomplishment!

 

I've stayed in the Atrium a few times in the past. they need a good going over like the other older towers. I'm not sure but I think those tables may be on the lowest level that has rooms.

 

For some reason I've been receiving issues of Men's Fitness and Men's Health magazines in my mailbox.
I believe someone's trying to send me a message, perhaps subtly suggesting a little self-improvement.
I hear them loud and clear!

So, in 2017 I resolve to read more!
(Might as well. I'll be getting a lot of magazines!)

Clean up my act.

 

My dream is to find a location that has thousand of stars to look at night. I need to go to a very high mountain like Big Bear to see the STARS or.... go to Alaska to see the stars at night. I want to go back to ALASKA this year.

I have fun going on cruise ships to Alaska every other summer. Dreams and goals are more important to me. LucyR.

 

What else? Try to get to Vegas more often!
