https://www.venetianlasvegas.com/venetian-rewards/announcement.html?utm_source=casino&utm_medium=email#email Arriving in March. New tiers, marketed as the best slots-focused program in Vegas… I’ll let you all analyze the little details since you’re better than I!
Looks like Venetian is revamping their loyalty program after just having done so a couple years ago. No longer theo-based. Starts in March. They must've received lots of questions... They're adding spend...
It honestly looks like Cosmo's or at least close to it though still not as good. But if you look at the hard perks as well - their second highest tier gets complimentary room nights as well as companion rooms. Venetian making their bid for Cosmo's players?
The hard comps are nice, but "choose 1 of 3"? Just give it all! $4/point, so $200k coin-in for their top tier. Suite upgrade no longer asterisked with "if paying." Entourage suite nights sound like Cosmo's companion nights. They're rolling over current status, which is a pretty good deal since Paiza Gold took less to earn than the upcoming Diamond. No wonder they've been quiet about upcoming offers and slot tournaments. Hopefully those will come soon. I'm positive on the change and new benefits from what I see. Keeps it competitive with Cosmo (RIP) and Wynn.
That seems pretty fair actually. Assuming the full pay JoB they offer is still at $10:1, the EV on the $200k c/i required to reach ruby would be ($920). That's a pretty solid slate of benefits for that kind of action.
Glad to see a program change from theo back to the much simpler coin-in. Venetian won the prize for anti-transparency with their last version when they referred to the player's expected loss as "theoretical win".
To be fair, it was a simple calculation, right? Regarding the "theoretical win" thing...it's the same thing. Even MGM, internally, calls it theoretical win. If you ask at the rewards desk, they can tell you what your theo is. But the boothlings may not know what you're talking about, but if you tell them to find "theoretical win" for the trip, they'll tell you. And this is still slightly theo based. Look at the table game earnings. That's clearly theo
You should…I’ve always liked the rooms there since they’re all suites & I like the setup with the rooms that have a sunken living area…very comfortable. My favorite rooms were the ones that had attached private patios to the pool area in the Venezia tower.
Thanks to U2, I am new to Grazie; always been solely an MGM player. So I have a question for V/P vets, sorry if it's dumb. I am currently Premier (barely), and it says my status is good until February 29. I am arriving in Vegas on February 29 but at the moment, am not booked into Venetian until March 1. Do I have to give them any play on February 29th, or will I become Sapphire automatically on the 1st due to the revamp, even if I don't play? Gracias.
I assume tier earn 1-1 with reward? For all their talk of transparency they completely omitted how tier points are earned.
Hmmmm. I’m with @maxev , seems positive to me. As I mentioned awhile back, I’ve oddly never even stepped foot in the property since it opened, maybe ‘24 will change that. Especially if a host will do an offer and/or tier match, which is how I ended up Platinum at Cosmo for the last 4 years…
Interestingly, they don't say how all of the previous tiers will map to the new tiers, except for Paiza -> Diamond. In other words, NO promises that Elite scrubs will be Ruby when the new program takes effect in March. 80k coin-in on slots to get Ruby. Personally, that will require 3 trips based on my usual bankroll size. Good job Venetian. You have managed to squeeze more trips per year out of me.
In their FAQ it says the calc is the same for Rewards Points and Tier Points. https://www.venetianlasvegas.com/venetian-rewards/faq.html
