I just cancelled my Bally's Jubilee Premium room and rebooked the Cabana room. Hoping I don't regret it. It seems to be small rooms, but I was thinking having easy access to the pool would give me a different trip than I am used to. I am staying through 10/1 so I wonder if I will lose out on the $200 F&B for the last day.

Yeah the TR site is iffy when it comes to the Linq. They don't show "Luxury 2 Queen" or "2 Queen Suite" on there but they both exist because I've stayed in both. I got Hunter to book the 2 Queen Suite for me for my next trip because no matter what I did on the website, it didn't show up as an option. But I stayed in one last trip and loved it. So much room that I totally don't need but don't mind having

Just returned from Vegas. I stayed in a reg room. My sister stayed in a cabana room. Double. She loved it. It is a bit smaller than the reg. room. I had a king bed, her 2 fulls I believe it was. If you like the pool area, I would recommend it. It was nice to go to her room and head out and sit on her patio or grab a lounger outside of her door. The mornings were quiet but the afternoons it picked up. We had fun hanging out and meeting new people. I am not a pool person, but it got me out there and enjoyed it.

How about security? is there anything to keep people out of your sitting area when not in use? Have available as a comp in March, just not sure about the security aspect to keep people out of your area and away from your patio door? any advice or first hand knowledge would be great

I just check the TR website. I'm headed there at the end of June and the cost of the cabana room is only about $100/night more than a regular room. I'm thinking it may be worth it. A few questions...

    1) How's the view of the pool? Is it too off the beaten path to be fun?

    2) Is there anything to stop me from drinking my own beer from my room?

    3) Is there any sun to be had, or is it too shaded?

    Thanks!

Well, I went ahead & booked this room. I guess I can always cancel if between now & May there are some bad reviews.

I have 5 nights reserved in this room in early May. Another 5 nights in August. I will let you know how it is. From what research I have read, the room is small and nothing fancy. The outside room is a nice feature which adds space. I plan on enjoying the pool atmosphere on a solo trip. What better way to make friends then invite some people over to my private Cabana where I have a cooler full of cheap drinks.

Me and my GF have just booked this room for the end of June/beginning of July. There doesn't seem to be many reviews anywhere of this room type.
Would be nice to see a walk through and get an answer on what security is like while the pool is open.

I don't know how I missed this thread earlier in the year, and I just read through it this morning. Great info.

Last Memorial weekend, I stayed at Caesars and a couple of friends stayed at Linq. They said they enjoyed the pool there, as it was a good party atmosphere.

So, I logged into TR this morning to see what I could get for Memorial weekend this coming year. Comped. I am 7 star though.

We stayed in the cabana room in September. It was a smaller room but the cabana area was great. I have booked the rooms for both my April and September 2016 trip.

    1. The rooms are on the outer edge of the pool but there is a decent view. You have your own cabana space with tv and furniture. Chairs are in front of the cabana that people use - twice we had people put their chairs in front of door, but had no problem asking them move. The wooden door cannot be propped open, but most of the front is a low wall with glass.

    2. We brought our own beverages from outside the pool as well as using the pool bar. When we reserved there was a f&b credit that we used to get beer at the tag bar. When getting beer at tag, they need to open the bottles, but you can ask them to save the caps which can be pushed back on. When I go in 2016 we are just going to bring our own alcohol. I assume no glass bottles are allowed outside the cabana area for safety.

    3. Depending on where you room is you will have sun for half the time you are there. Our room had the sun until about noon, the rooms opposite us had the sun starting at noon. I am not sure how the sun feel on the rooms that were on the sides. We just moved into the pool for more sun. I enjoyed having shade during the hottest part of the day.

As far as security, we had no problems with people wandering into our cabana area. As I said before there were people who blocked our door, but a simple request had them moving out enough for us to get through.

We had a few issues with the tv outside the room, but after the second time we had to call they replaced the unit and had not further issues.

I liked that the rooms were on the 2nd floor since you could easily use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevators.

These are the only rooms at the Linq we would stay at.

STPFan, thanks for the great info. I have this room comped for mid July, and like everyone else, found it very difficult finding info on the cabana rooms.

Just wondering what stops other people from coming into your patio space. Did the door connecting the patio to the pool area self lock? Did you access it with a key card like you would the hotel room door?

Also, how intrusive was the music from the pool if you were in the room with the patio door closed?

I did the exact same thing today. I had not heard of these rooms until I was putzin' around the internet and ran across them on the TR website. I called my guy and was able to book a comped one for my May 2016 trip. Now I'm really looking forward to it!
