Is Aria finally getting looser with comps?

I never stay at Aria but I gamble there every trip. I've never had a host approach me (I've had on every other property that I frequent), and never really got offers from them other than a reduced rate or some such thing.

All of a sudden I'm getting emails and mailings almost every day offering free rooms etc. Granted this year I've taken them for lots of money and previous years it's been more of a wash.

Has anyone else seen more offers? Are the finally trying to woo customers? (I still won't hold my breath waiting for a host to approach me.)

I wasn't until I called them just out of curiosity and found I did have a three night comp available with RC and FP included, unfortunately I had already booked Delano with a slightly better FP offer for our Christmas trip when I found out, now I am getting emails weekly including my first from an EH last week for NYE.

Funnily enough, I just checked the mlife website, and it's showing comped rooms at Aria for the first time ever. I'm normally a $50-100 player, which is enough for comped rooms pretty much everywhere else in the MGM network, but I've never gotten anything from Aria (I still stay there, and pay for it, because I like the property more than any other, and I'd rather pay for a room I like than take a free room in a place where I don't enjoy playing).

Yeah, I received offers for three nights comped at Aria for the first time this Fall, and received the same offer again for Winter, including a small amount of freeplay, resort credits, and comp show tickets. Previously all I got from Aria were Casino rate discount rooms, a little free play and resort credits and BOGO show tickets.

My play is pretty consistent for the three trips I took their this year, though I did have one trip over a year ago where I played about double what I usually play, and lost way more than what I theoretically should have lost. I also opened a LOC there in January, but not sure if that had anything to do with it. At Aria I play mostly $1 VP, with some $25-50 BJ and a mix of other table games, and a little $1-$5 reel slots.

Used my first comp offer in October. I'm not planning a trip for Winter, so hopefully the offers will keep coming for Spring so I can take advantage of them again!

I spent 4 nights at Aria over Halloween on the most generous offer I've ever had from them, maybe from any top tier property.

But I might not be a good example as the action I gave Aria and Mandalay Bay back in April was the first I had given to Mlife in quite a while. So that offer could have just been a teaser or a "come back to us" type thing. I did play quite a bit over this most recent trip - certainly more than I did in the spring. So I assume I'll find out shortly whether it was just a teaser or not.

Free at Aria. I still will not stay there. MGM with PGP has gone down hill. I think the casino is nice but the Aria hotel is nothing special. If i was staying in the aria I would pay for a room at Cosmopolitan vs a comp room at Aria but that is just me.

If you book early Aria shows rooms available.

I've just logged in and have 3 nights in a skysuite with 500 f&b and 450 free play with limo transfers. Had the penthouse last year. I'm torn as I have an offer for the penthouse and the mirage with 750 f&b and 1250 free play with limo and VIP perks. Which one would you go for?
