I have never been to Foundation Room or Mix at Mandalay. My rooftop experience is mostly limited to Voodoo and Ghostbar, Playboy, etc at Palms. People have indicated elsewhere in the forum that there is no cover to get up to mix early in the evening and sometimes you can get on the guest list for Foundation Room as well to spare you the cover. I see a myvegas reward for 2 comp passes up to Foundation Room. It says the value is $30 per person. Is this a waste of my points if I can just do Mix for free by getting there early? We were thinking we'd want to be there around sunset anyway. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
If you go early to foundation room (while they're still serving food), I've never been asked for cover. Just ask to go up and eat at the bar. I also think that if you are staying at MB, you can get on the guest list for free by calling the number in the book in your room.
