klawrey, I LOVE your positive attitude! Along with the physical battle, many people have the mental battle to contend with. Keep your dukes up and whoop this thing!

My Dad battled with lung cancer and went down fighting, strong until the end.

God bless you to whole and complete healing.

You are light years ahead of much of the human race with your understanding of how each day is to be appreciated. Best wishes on the rest of your recovery.

Good luck to you! My brother-in-law's brother passed away from cancer at 28 -- still unbelievable to me how it can spread through your body -- glad yours was caught in time!

Wishing you the very best. I had my fight with this dreaded disease in 1998 and it was a few years later before I made the category of NED (No evidence of the Disease). It was definitely a difficult period of my life. With your positive attitude, that is a giant step towards being finally cleared. Of course, prayers are the second step or vice versa.

I believe a very helpful forum would be the Cancer Survivor's Network (CSN). I think you will find that place very helpful and especially in discussion with survivors having similar ailments. I log on as HAWVET under the Head and Neck section.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain." This is a motto we try to live by and it seems that you are doing the same. Your attitude will go a long way in getting you to your cancer free goal. Best wishes!
