Every now and then, I check Caesars Air to see if anything interesting is available. It's usually pretty consistent when searching from Detroit or Toronto as the departure airports... flights to Atlantic City and Bullhead City/Laughlin at varying price points. I've also seen Biloxi and Tunica the odd time, but that's about it. However, something I have NEVER seen is a charter flight to Vegas from any city! I always thought that because more than enough commercial flights go to LAS, there isn't much need to offer junkets (on a public basis, anyway... I'm sure there are plenty of invite-only charters). Not that this is a very good value at that price, nor would I choose to stay at Harrah's given other potential options. Though I have to say I love the idea of taking a charter package like this to Vegas if the price/hotel were right. Is this a new thing? I've been scoping out flights on Caesars Air even before COVID and can't say I've ever seen it.
So funny thing about that, I got a free airfare charter to Vegas for Feb, with the stay at Harrah’s…don’t think for a second I didn’t consider doing it & staying at V/P with an offer there.
They had charters to Vegas from some location years ago even. Just they were rare and limited people got sent them. They were 'invite only' trips and wouldn't show up on the Caesar's Air website without putting in your account number and having an invite. This site has been good at tracking them: https://www.grueningercasinotrips.com/casino-trip-schedule Currently seeing 3 of them. Chicago was the location I'd get emails for when I lived in the midwest.
No. You can book a room at Harrahs and stay somewhere else if you like. People do it all the time on flights to Laughlin. Rent a car and drive to Vegas. Stay there for a couple nights on a comp.
