Next week I'm coming in town and planning on hitting up bingo after breakfast one morning. How intense is this going to be? I know to some people it's serious stuff. I've played at bars with legit bingo sheets and daubed but it was a party atmosphere with chugging contests and Jell-O shots when O-69 was called. On their website I see things like rainbow pack, verify fee, etc. this is foreign to me.

This is their price sheet. When I purchase my cards what am I asking for? I just need the basic game but also want to be in on a progressive jackpot if you have to make a small side bet for it.

It's very intense. It's not church bingo. A player's card will save you a few dollars. You will get 2 free drink tickets. I get the #1 electronic special. They call the numbers too quickly for me to keep up with a dauber.

I totally expect it be serious business which is why I am trying to prep myself. I was considering the electronic special. Does it mark numbers for you or do you still do that manually?

So for Special #1...I get 8 sheets good for 8 games correct? If I get a Bingo I would win $60 since it is a blue sheet? I know that coverall is when you cover all of your squares obviously. But does the game keep going until someone gets a coverall? I would be spending $36 to get started though? I'll sign up for a players card and try to do their status match as I should be able to upgrade to King or Ace.

I assume I will be the youngest player in there by far, hopefully I don't get too many dirty looks. haha

The electronic device does all the work for you. You just enter a number that's on your receipt and it's good to go.

They do cover all, postage stamp, 9-packs, hardways, straight bingo into double bingo until someone wins.

Haha, you won't get dirty looks. But those Grannies will look at you from the corner of their eyes and say:
"This little kid wants to win money from my pocket? No way!"

So if I buy the electronic special #1 will I get to play all of the games during a given session? I'm looking at going to the 11am session.

You would need to add a dual action and a bonanza for all the games at the Plaza.

In a session how many games are there? They'll announce something like Blue sheet, X pattern before the start of a game?

I'm just following this thread to get some pointers ... I've never played bingo in Vegas, so I don't have a clue what to do, but I'd love to give it a try next trip! BTW, does anyone have price schedules for Suncoast or Gold Coast bingo?
