I'm a low-roller on a budget in Vegas and as such, my food routine during my 4-5 day trips is almost the exact same each time.

I'm interested in tips on tasty cheap eats (up to $15 per person).

Here is my standard Vegas meal plan:

    Dinner:
Tender Steakhouse @ Luxor using the $75 off MyVegas reward
Casa di Amore using a restaurants.com coupon (the free limo ride is a treat for first timers to Vegas)
    Ellis Island steak special

    Buffets:
Mirage buffet using LVA coupon book
    Main Street Station using LVA
    Palms buffet using LVA

    Lunch:
Aloha Kitchen (locals place near UNLV)
    Hooters BOGO wings from ACG

    Breakfast:
2 for 1 omelets at Luxor food court using ACG coupon book

What else would you add? I need to mix it up a little.

Has anyone done Crown & Anchors $20 comp lunch item deal that LVA often promotes?
Any ACG or LVA great food options I've missed? Or other coupon deals? Willing to spend some time on MyVegas or any other casino games out there to earn the discount.

    Thanks team!

$2.49 foot long hot dogs in Casino Royale are delicious and a good deal, though they used to be cheaper. Beyond that, I noticed on my last trip that Margaritaville's prices aren't too bad. I also heard from my buddies that Rio's buffet is a bargain.

Other possibilities that are decent and fit in that budget (if you don't drink):
    Burger Bar
    Tacos & Tequila
    Grand Wok
    550
    Pin Up Pizza
    Secret Pizza
    The Henry
    Cafe Bellagio
    Charlie's Bar

All of those have decent meals for $15 or less

I don't know anything about the LVA $20 comp lunch special you mention, but I've eaten at the Crown & Anchor on Tropicana many, many times. Good food! LOVE their fish & chips!

Palms Buffet is closed for remodel until December but the restaurant that replaced the 24/7, Lucky Penny, has very good food, large portions and reasonably priced.

Ellis Island, which while not on the strip is across the street from Ballys...

Totally agree, no tipping and also there are really cheap alcohol drinks there, $.75 Coors light drafts, $2 beer bottles and $3 for some mixed drinks...Those prices are most likely cheaper than buying booze from the on strip drug store...

Correct, however there no guarantee they'll even open for December (you usually want to in order to receive the holiday tourists) and who knows what the place will be like after it opens...Hope it's a good value like it was before...

2018 LVA is usually available the first week of January. You can buy it online and have it mailed or pick it up at their office (off of Spring Mountain not far from the strip.)

I like the crown and anchor for their food, but the vp pay tables make it a good chance that you will pay $20 for that lunch...so I skip it.
The tiny casino, Klondike Sunset, on Boulder Hwy has a fantastic breakfast special. For $1.49 ($1.61 after tax) you get 2 eggs any style, good hash browns, 2 slices of toast, and 3 slices of thick cut bacon or 2 sausage links. The casino was redone and is clean, modern and stylish inside.
Up the Blvd a little is the Skyline Casino. They have a $1.49 shrimp cocktail that although has small shrimp, has great taste. The sauce is terrific. Beers are equally dirt cheap and it makes for a great midday or nighttime snack. On Friday and Saturday nights they have some live music to add to the atmosphere. Shrimp is served at the bar 24/7.

My favorite cheap it is the steak special at Ellis Island. I just had it in August and it was as good as ever. One of the best meal values left in Vegas.

IF your at least 50 years of age, hit up one of the Boyd properties doing the Young at Heart promo with buffet. Doesn't take much to earn BOGO coupons and not a whole lot more to earn free buffet.

PS. Main Street and Cal don't do buffet deal, but many others do.

Obviously lots of things in here that are good deals...The OP seems to rely on coupons,
"2 for 1 omelets at Luxor food court using ACG coupon book" is still probably fairly expensive as a full breakfast could be cheaper even without coupons at places like Ellis Island...Weekday breakfast buffets are usually super cheap while weekend brunches are often as expensive as dinner...

PH and Paris have a lots of little deals, Mr. Luckys gambling special for $7.77 which doesn't even require you to leave the strip. Another big focus should be on happy hours noting that some include weekends while others don't...

Love their famous steak special! When we got it, I got the chicken noodle soup instead of the salad. I swear, it seemed like the soup was homemade...it tasted like it, and the veggies were cut like they were cut in the kitchen, and there were huge hunks of chicken in it. I was impressed because I assumed it might be a canned soup. If it was, it was a very good one.

Don't forget Ellis Island for breakfast. We went there on our last trip in July, and they had a great breakfast special. It was $7 for a sizable steak, eggs and hashbrowns. The food was great, the coffee was good, and our server was excellent!

My favorite spot for a great and affordable meal is Cheesecake Factory at Caesars Palace Forum Shops. So much to choose from and everything I tried was so good!

I also like that it's right on the Strip, where all the action is. And fun to see the aquarium, where it's right next to, with every hour the free Atlantis show. So Vegas!

Prices are around $15. You can find a menu with prices here. And a link to the official menu (without prices) with lots of mouth-watering pictures here.

    My favorites:

    Spicy Cashew Chicken $16.95

(not as spicy as the name would suggest, very mild, but the picyure is exactly as it comes, with loads of huge chunks of delicious chicken).

Factory Combination (choose two items): Steak Diane and Shrimp Scampi (other options are Chicken Madeira and Herb Crusted Salmon) $19.95

(there wasn't a picture of the dish as a combination, so I posted both dishes).

My husband loves crepes, so on one trip when we were staying at Bally's, we went over to Paris to La Creperie. Crepes are $8.75-$11.25 and are quite good. I got the Nutella crepe, and he got the Fresh Berry crepe. It's a walk-up stand where you place your order and then wait for your food. There's seating alongside where you can sit and enjoy your crepes. It's not a huge portion of food, but we thought it was plenty for breakfast. I think it was just under $30 for the two of us for the two crepes and two coffees. There was a little stand there where you could fix up your coffee.

I've heard some not-so-good things about Pampas Brazilian grille, but we really enjoyed it when we ate lunch there last December. The buffet with the salad bar and sides was good but not great, but we thought the meat was phenomenal. We are definitely planning on going back on our next trip. Lunch is $39 for 2 through Travelzoo, which I know is slightly over your $15 per person limit, but it IS all-you-can eat meat. We didn't even want dinner after eating lunch there...

TGIFridays at Boyd properties (such as Orleans). After 9 pm it's "Happy Hour". Appies around $6, beer/wine around $4. Sit at one of the tables overlooking the casino and watch the players, etc. Two can eat/drink for about $20.
