Going to be in Vegas in mid December. Looks like there will be 3 Blackhawks games and one Bears Game while we're there. Where are the best spots to make bets, watch the games, eat and drink ? Staying center strip, Flamingo, so walking distance would be great.

Best NFL bar downtown is Long Bar at the D. Strip is much more competitive. Lots of good sports books. MB and Caesars come to mind. Then you have the bars, Ringers, Twin Peaks, TAG etc. Then you have the option of just watching the game playing table games. Pretty much every casino has plenty of TV s.

    Really can't go wrong.

Don't know about the Strip but I like to make my bets at Four Queens and than go over to 777 at MSS to watch the games. Pizza Rock is also a good place to watch the game if you have a craving for pizza.

Just head next door to the Linq - should not have a problem for seating for the hockey but get there early for football.
can't remember the name (Tag Bar?) but plenty of seats available and usually good atmosphere and kf u like beer lots of choices. I also do book at linq if interested area for MNF/TNF.

I would go to the Mirage myself, but you do need to get there early for NFL Sundays. Check out this site for more Vegas Sportsbook reviews, Tommy is also a good follow on Facebook and Twitter

We went to Blondies at PH. Lots of TVs and decent bar food at an OK price. Had beer pong going on too.

I made an online reservation today for Tap Sports Bar at MGM to watch a Thursday night game in December. Anybody have anything good or bad to say? The beer and food menu looks okay and the photos online look all right. Wasn't sure where else to go and wanted to stay at an MGM bar,

I walked past there on Sunday evening past and it was really busy so looked like a good atmosphere. Due to it being very busy we couldn't get a table so I cannot attest to the quality of food and drinks.

I went to TAP all three days at my last stay at MGM. Good food, good beer selection, tons of TVs. Even ran into a professional basketball player. I'd recommend Tap for a game, glad you snagged reservations.

Thanks for your replies guys. I was worried maybe I picked the wrong place. What kind of sold me was that you can make reservations online for a table. From Canada and have no idea how busy it will be during a Thursday night game. Last year we were there for a Cowboys/Bears game and a few bars looked pretty busy.
