Any good rock bars in vegas? Live bands or rock music from 80's to now.

Ive seen rock of ages and raiding the rock vault. Im looking for bars that play that kind of music.

Rockhouse at Palazzo play rock stuff as do Coyote Ugly in NYNY, though that's not exclusively rock.

Walked past Rockhouse a couple of times last week and the music was very "hair metal"

Check if Phoenix is playing at the Mizuya Lounge at Mandalay Bay when you are in town. Good rock cover band that I have been seeing in town for years, free cover.

I was going to suggest Mizuya generally, they tend to have great rock cover bands playing no matter what night. No cover, video poker at the bar, and great staff.

The lounge at Bally's has some really good cover bands as well.

You never know what you are gonna get at Ballys these days. In May heard a great girls band that did 80s-today...but they said they are on month long contracts now. Boo.
Not bands, but Bourbon room plays rock videos from the 80s...with just a bit of pop thrown in. Lots of fun (and my fav VP machines at the bar!)

If you liked Rock of Ages check out the Bourbon Room in the Venetian. its themed around the show, and if there aren't live groups in there (which there are most nights), they play music videos of classic 70's-90's rock tunes all the time. Its a great time if you're into that stuff. I don't know the schedule, but most nights there are live performers and bands.

Sorry, missed your comment before endorsing Bourbon Room myself. Thanks for the tip on the VP machines there, I've never checked those out. Do they comp drinks at those VP machines as well?

I was going to suggest Vampd too. It is on West Sahara Avenue near Rainbow Blvd.

Check out the Sin City Sinners. They have alot of the 80s big name rockers sit in with them and they play all over town, usually 5-6 days a week. You can find them online and see their schedule. I know they will be at the East Side Cannery during Halloween weekend and I believe at Culinary Dropout at Hard Rock for some acoustic sets in the week prior to some other casino gigs.

Fremont Street also has free bands nightly. 3 different stages and usually some kind of rock.

I was going to suggest Mizuya as well, they do great rock covers. Can be sort of a weird vibe sometimes, if the space in front of the stage is empty, but you can still chill at the bar and drink or play VP.

Go to the Double Down!!! Right off the strip on Paradise. My all time favorite Vegas bar. Its a good rock, punk metal bar. Bands start late, drinks are cheap and its kinda grimey.... In a good way:)

Carnaval Court had a lot of live classic rock cover bands going this past weekend. I don't know if its standard, but its a large bar, and outdoors, with the the big top covering. It had a nice atmosphere.

Yep, Scuplin IPA for craft beer lovers, and very good paytables by Sheldon standards. 8/5 Boner Deluxe, 8/5 Jacks, and the rare 8/5 DDB Plus (5-Ks with Ace pay 400 vs 250) all of which are over 97.2%. Sometimes tough to get a seat at night though, I was lucky to find one last trip.

Thanks for the tip, I had never even gone in the place to gamble, only ever gone in to catch a breather and maybe a drink or a quick bite. I love early gambling, so will check out the machines when its quiet.

Yeah, earlier is probably better (or really late), but the hours are limited, 2p to 4a I think.
