It beats the $15 per bottle of Fiji I pay daily at Cosmo. Even when I bring water up from the Casino I end of grabbing a bottle of Fiji because I drink a lot of water. When I go solo, typically I can’t be bothered doing a Walgreens run so use the mini bar.

Wondering if it would be practical to take a big jug (empty) on the plane, and then fill that up at one of the water fountains in the Las Vegas airport... which DOES have those "bottle filler" water fountains like the one below.

Me too. Tastes just fine to me. My bellman friend at mgm even has a cooler loaded with bottled water for us, I still drink tap.

I've also wasted a few minutes end trip to open every bottled water in the cooler and dump it down the drain, sending it back to it's natural environment, instead of being bottled up.

I always do that. I don't want to spend $5 (or more) buy a bottle of water at airport.

I always request a certain room to my host. She has always taken care of it. Having water already in the room sounds wonderful as big bottles of water are heavy for this 80 year old to carry to the room.

I have also found that asking for water at the front desk when checking in will quite often result in you getting water. It’s one of those “you have to know to ask for it” type of things.

What’s HILARIOUS though is that I stopped typing the above halfway through as I just pulled up to the hotel I’m staying at tonight. Checked in… didn’t even think to ask for water even though I was thinking about it for this post two minutes before. And they offered it to me without asking :)

I always seem to forget to ask anyway… but it’s a good habit to get into if you can do it!
