...see the Grand Canyon! ...get a picture at the Las Vegas Sign!

Does the degenerate in you take over as soon as you land?? or are you able to get out and do something you have planned prior to the trip?

I find once I land all plans fly out the window, unless I'm tied in with tickets or admission. What are your experiences?

I will definitely gamble a lot more.

I will definitely visit the Wynn/Encore for the first time.

I will definitely go to a nightclub at least once.

I will definitely do more shows.

I usually have a list of things I want to do, but most don't happen.
If we do one or two new things each trip I'm happy.

Going for my 13th visit in a few weeks and I have not seen the sign either but would like to. How far out of the way is it taking a taxi from the airport to Paris?

Hello Las Vegas, this trip I will definitely.....

........NOT get totally hammered Charlie Sheen style on my first night in Vegas. :drunk:

I have done this the last 3 trips and it always puts a damper on the next days activities.

I will drag my ass out of bed for brunch at The Country Club (or similar) instead of ordering room service and watching sports in bed until noon!

(To be honest though, I’d imagine that the odds of this actually happening on any give trip are probably in the +1500 neighborhood…+5000 during football season.)

It took me exactly 2 trips to know I would never see the Grand Canyon or the Hoover Dam when I am in Vegas. Just not interested. The neon blinds me! LOL!!

But every trip, I add new things to my never-ending list of to-dos, such as outlying casino/hotels, shows, restaurants, attractions. That is the good thing about Vegas, there is always something new to see, do and eat! I have 37 trips under my belt and have not seen or done or eaten everything/where.

~high roll only on slots (it may be a short lived experience :p )
~use my damned Groupon for Dal Toro
~order an overpriced drink by the pool
~make sterling status at Cosmopolitan! One free room a year, according to the website!
    ~come home with cash

I always have wanted to see the Las Vegas sign...how far of a walk is it from MB??

    This trip I will....

Gamble a lot and hopefully bring back at least some of the money I bring with me!
    Try a few new restaurants
Have my favourite drink on the strip (Oranje Crusha from Cosmopolitan)
Actually spend some time at a pool
Buy a few nice things from the outlet

It's about a half mile south of Mandalay Bay. Not too far of a walk from there but the heat may kill you before you get there. If you're gonna walk from Paris, I suggest early morning.

I plan going to Hoover Dam. However instead of seeing the Dam (for the 4th time) I'd like to walk across the new bridge and get a whole new perspective.

I have a growing "I will..." list on my phone's notepad snuggled nicely under LAS VEGAS TO-DO header.

I have severe Vegas ADD. Like during SB weekend I didn't make it south of Flamingo (stayed at Palazzo) and rarely left home-base. Despite me having plans to eat at several places, try baccarat, see Absinthe and Mob Museum, etc.

However I have booked a six night mainly solo trip in Sept. And for the health of my innards & bank account I need to slow down and enjoy more things.

Hello Las Vegas, this trip I will definitely.....

    1) Visit El Cortez and Container Park Downtown.
    2) Play slots with my Wife instead of leaving her to play craps.
    3) Eat at more nice restaurants instead of fricken buffets.
    4) Play Bingo
    5) Rent that fricken machine that goes with Bingo instead of trying to mark the numbers yourself.
    6) Play more Video Poker
    7) Watch a movie or two at the Orleans.
    8) Jump in the pool for an hour or so every day.
    9) Actually try to get some sleep.

Nuff already. Who am I kidding. I'm lucky I do 2 of the above....lol!

    This trip I will.....

Finally use the Stripburger Restaurant.com gift certificate I've had for a year and a half. Our past few trips we've had other people along, and never got around to making our way down there. This trip is just my husband and I and we will hopefully have lunch there on Day 2.
