According to their website, Lotus of Siam will no longer serve a lunch buffet starting on July 4 and going forward. It says that this is "due to circumstances beyond [their] control." Anyone have any insight as to why? Are they just making room for more seating?

Huh. Not sure. They still had it when I was out there last month. I've never had the lunch buffet ... regular menu is just too darn appealing!

Believe me, you will not be missing much, it's amazing how different and terrible that lunch buffet was compared to the excellent
    regular dinner menu......good riddance.

This. You go there for the highly-touted Thai food, not a buffet with pedestrian offerings.

They did not serve their regular menu fare at the buffet. It's the menu fare that rated so highly in a national poll, the buffet was regular Chinesey type stuff.

I've never had the buffet there, but this is my favorite restaurant on Earth, so I was curious. Thanks all.
