Flamingo pool during the week in September

We are looking at staying at the Flamingo during the week of Sept. 15th. I was just wondering in that time frame how busy the pool is likely to be. We really don't want to have to show up at 9 am to get a lounger. I know from staying at Ballys in that same time frame the pool was not busy at all. I get the vibe is absolutely different between the two pools but is Flamingo pool likely to be that busy during the week in September?

 

Everytime I stay there it's get there before 9am

 

The adult pool is likely to be busy. The family pool not as much.

 

I was there midweek the first week in Sept 2 years ago. I was pretty crowded, we never went down in the morning but would go down early/mid afternoon and there were very few open chairs. You are right, totally different as compared to Bally's pool.

 

Can't you book something in advance and tell them you will be there around a certain time??:confused2:

 

We stayed there two years ago and while not as crazy as during the weekend, it was still busy. You still had to get there early if you wanted a decent spot. We ended up renting loungers for $12 a day to avoid the rat race.

 

The Flamingo Pool is the best in Vegas in my opinion. Granted, everyone puts their towels down, but it's still fun. In addition, they have a craps table out there!

 

We will be there the last week in February and wondering how busy it will be there during the week too. When you say "everyone puts their towels down" do you mean that they go down early and get their chairs, leave and come back later. No one removes them? How long can you leave?

 

Actually, the pools in Vegas don't open til March 1st.

 

I am pretty sure that all the hotels in LV are not in lock-step in that all reopen on 3/1.....actually many on the Strip are open all year. Flamingo is not

 

You may have to break in and then you will have it all to yourself, make sure you take something to keep warm in

 

I wasnt aware you could rent loungers. How do you go about it, there is nothing on thier website and how does a $12 lounger differ from the free ones
