    I also see the Claridge has reopened. I just visited their website and there is nothing about that hotel that would make me pay for a room. I'm pretty sure TJM will try and do the same with the old Atlantic club. Try to upscale it as a luxury beach hotel.

    I always liked the place. The pool/spa was nice. The old Beach Bar was sweet.

    I liked it when it was first opened as Wynn"s Golden Nugget ,brand new ,luxurious for that time period. As the Hilton or AC Club didnt go there much,but I know some people were really loyal to it ,but I guess not enough.

    I hope they will hire back some of the thousands of employees who lost their jobs when the Atlantic Club was shutdown. I felt so bad for all those workers. Atlantic City has a terrible unemployment problem. It was never great, but employment has been really down ever since Pennsylvania legalized gambling.
