    Thinking about purchasing tickets to see Zumanity when we come to Vegas. How is the show? We went to Viva Elvis a couple of years back and we really didnt care for it. Also have seen Mystere and enjoyed it.

    We enjoyed it. It is not the high flying acrobatics of Mystere' though. It is more of a semi sexy, semi comedic type of vibe. There are floor acrobatics and displays, some dance, some singing. We have buy one get one free tix, we def enjoyed the show but were glad we didn't pay full price.

    It's definitely not like Viva Elvis. It is a more traditional Cirque show but it is definitely adult in content and much more intimate. I found it entertaining and a real bargain with the 2 for 1 MyVegas reward. $99 for two seats up close.

    It's all up to the individual. We saw it twice - first time from the balcony and I almost fell asleep. Second time from the 2nd row courtesy of a MLife offer comp and it was a fun time. If you are the least bit uncomfortable with boobies and/or sexual jokes and innuendo then it wouldn't be for you. If that stuff doesn't bother you, it's worth going IMHO

    Fair warning, if you sit anywhere on the floor, you may be asked (or forced?) to participate. I don't like any show that I pay to be entertained and might be forced to provide part of the entertainment. My girlfriend had to go up on stage and do some stupid stuff, which just annoyed me. We were at the show together, to see the show together, and I had to sit next to an empty seat for probably 10 minutes.

    Being 31, I didn't find the show particularly risque or funny. It was okay, but I definitely wouldn't pay to see it, and I found some of it to be rather boring. If you like Cirque shows, stick with La Reve, O, Ka, etc. I like more action and acrobatics

    If you have a chance to go on stage and get blindfolded by clowns...go for it.;

    Enjoyed it more then Ka

    My wife and saw Zumanity last Vegas trip, loved it, also saw Ka, initially impressed, then almost fell asleep. We'd see Zumanity again, not Ka. Zumanity we found humorous and we enjoyed the physical acrobatics. We also loved Absinthe.

    We saw Zumanity in March. We really enjoyed it. Like a lot have said it can be rather risque and if you sit close don't be surprised if you end up part of the show. If you do, go along with it and have a blast. Most all of the people in that theater won't ever see you again anyways. That can be your "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", moment. There was a lady pulled up on stage that went with the flow of things and you could tell was having a good old raunchy time. When they asked where she was from and who she was there with it was her daughter. So more than likely the Hubby will never hear that story. :peace:

    I liked the the "comedian couple" (can't remember their names) but they made it a lot of fun.

    Also the part where the girl was hanging from the curtains as there was moaning in the background like she was working up to an orgasm was pretty cool. When she finished I said out loud for people to hear me, "Does anyone else need a cigarette about now?" (I'm not a smoker anymore) :evillaugh

    :cool:

    This should be interesting! I am seeing this on my upcoming July trip. A friend and I purposely got two standard free Zumanity tickets from MyVegas because we DO NOT want to be pulled up on stage and made a spectacle of!! lol

    After Zumanity I will have seen every Cirque show except Love and Mystere. I agree with HoyaHeel about "O" - after wanting to see it for years, I got comp tickets as part of an offer last year and was shocked at how disappointed and bored I was! It was all I could do to stay awake. I was very happy that the tickets were complimentary because I would have been upset if I had to pay for them....

    Saw it last week, it was very good, and very raunchy :)

    If you go get there early, 20-30 minutes before. There's some fun stuff that goes on pre-show.

    Lots of people keep saying how raunchy the show is. I had heard that they toned it down significantly from years past. We have always wanted to see it, but not as much since we heard it was rather tame now.

    It's my second favorite adult show (only ranked after Absinthe). Highly recommend, especially if you go with your significant other :).
