    Hello Everyone,

I don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but I called several resorts on the strip yesterday and got their actual prices for Cabana rentals.

These prices are for the week of Sept. 15th, Mon.-Thurs.

Prior to that, prices are higher because of it being peak season. All of the concierge's told me to call back again, because sometimes prices will change, depending on the day of the week, etc.

    I hope this helps.:)

Mandalay Bay...... 125.00 for Mon. Sept. 15th. Prior to that 375.00 for the day

Monte Carlo.........375.00-600.00 for Sept. 15th depending on the type of cabana you want. They did tell me, to call back, sometimes prices drop, depending what is going on in the hotel etc.

New York New York.....125.00- 150.00. for Sept. 15th. the 125.00 rate is without the snack basket

Luxor and Excalibur are 150.00 for Sept. 15th.

Aria....250.00 for the day and it includes a snack basket.

All of the properties include water, fruit juice, and a personal safe, along with the rest of the amenities.

For my husband and I Mandalay Bay is a deal we just can't beat, if we decide to rent a cabana for the day. Not sure yet, but I will spend that much on gambling, so maybe having a non gambling day, will be a good thing. LOL

    Simundo26,

All of the cabana prices are just for the cabana and the water, soda etc that it comes with.

There is no minimum requirement for food or beverage at any of the hotels that I listed and I specifically asked that question on all of them.

So, I think they are pretty good deals, if planning on spending the day at the pool. And I love the fact that they all comes with a personal safe.

Makes it easy bringing cash, cc, and ID and not having to worry about someone stealing it, while you are in the water.

Just to clarify about cabanas at Mandalay Bay: there are several different categories of cabana in the MB pool complex, and some far exceed $375.00 for a peak day (including the Villas Soleil and Moorea Pavillions).

    Thanks for posting K-9..
Just thought I would add a little more info.

I was on Aria's site looking at prices for my April and June trips.

The prices go up May 24-Sept.2 to:
    Mon.-Thur. $350
    Fri-Sat. $500
    Sun.$400

Holiday weekends are a little different.
I think these are the same as last year.

    Kellylovesvegas,

Thanks for the additional information about the cabana's at Mandalay Bay. I did forget to mention the additional types they have. Since it is just my husband and I, the pool gazebo cabana would be just fine, I still have to justify the 125.00, but it would be a treat, should we decide to do it.

    Nittany1,

    Thanks for the additional information.

Since we will be there Sept. 15, the price goes down to 250.00.

I can get the 4 nights comped at Aria through Myvegas, so we may end up staying at Aria, instead of Mandalay Bay. Still not sure about which hotel or to do the cabana or not. I know, I'm driving myself crazy. LOL

At least the last 2 years, the Monte Carlo cabanas came with food and beverage credit up to the amount of the cabana. I wonder if you were given incorrect information there.

Here is what I just received from MC concierge. They also sent a PDF of the different option and detailed costs, but the file is too large for me to attach.

    Good morning Mrs. xxxxx,
Thank you for contacting the Concierge .
I have attached the information and pricing for our 2014 pool season, which runs from March 1st until October 15th. The options are based on availability. We do not offer any half or part day rentals.
Our poolside reserved areas are guaranteed by agreeing to a food and beverage minimum based on the type of cabana or day bed you choose. We charge the first $200 of your food and beverage minimum onto a credit card at the time of booking as a way to guarantee and hold your reservation. Your deposit goes directly to the amount of food and beverage you receive. There are no additional rental fees required.
You will have up to 24 hours prior to the date of the reservation to cancel without penalty and receive a full refund. You will be required to pay the difference of the minimum above your $200 deposit plus tax and service fees and anything you order above that minimum.
Please contact us at your convenience to advise to which poolside accommodation would best suit your needs. You may contact us via phone at 702-730-7010 to provide:
    · A credit card to secure the booking (a $200 deposit is charged to secure the reservation)
    · Mobile contact number
    · Number of guests
The Concierge is available 7 days a week from 8:00am PST to 10:00pm PST and may assist with dinners, shows, tours, spa, golf tee times or any other special arrangements to enhance your stay.
    Thank you,
    PAIGE REESE

If you can get comped rooms at Aria you should stay there.
I have stayed at all three and IMO Aria is way nicer than MB or MC.

Thank you Da1chifan for the information on Monte Carlo Cabana's. It is very useful.

Is the price the 375.00 plus F & B or just the 200.00 deposit for Food and Bev? I might have been given wrong information when I called them.

Thanks again for the information, it is appreciated.

    Nittany1,

I think we are staying at Aria. We can get the 4 nights comped through Myvegas and I really think the rooms and property will be a big plus over MC and MB.

And with the savings for the room, I can probably justify their cabana rental, should we decide to spend a day at the pool.

The $200 is just a deposit to reserve it and goes towards whichever cabana you choose. It is applied toward your bill when you settle the day of.

In the case of the $375 cabana, you would get food and beverage included up to $375 then you would pay anything over that. So, if you order $375 of food and beverage, the cabana is free. If you order $200 of food and beverage, the cabana cost is only $175. If you only ordered $50 of food and beverage, the cabana would cost $325.

    Hope that makes sense.

This is the same exact information the concierge gave me last year and this year. We are reserving one for August.

Again, thank you so much for clarifying this da1. Now, it makes sense.:)

I clearly was given wrong information or misunderstood when I called them. Probably misunderstood. LOL

We will be there either the last week in Aug. or first part of Sept. Not sure yet, and it depends on air fare.
