Maybe that speaks to Monte Carlo's insistence on not keeping contemporary. You got to admit, it is somewhat outdated as a casino.
There was a restaurant south strip that has it. It may be in the Four Seasons. I read about it in Vegas Chatter around back. I think Baked Alaska is one that is slowly coming back into vogue.
It was Vegas Chatter that mentioned Four Seasons. Here is the link: http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2013/5/10/32938/1979/vegas-travel/Four+Seasons%27+New+Lounge+Impresses+with+Just+One+Dish
Baked Alaska Brand in the Monte Carlo serves Baked Alaska and it is vey good. If you eat there ask for Brian, he is excellent
Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, CUT, at the Palazzo has it if you can even make it to a dessert after a meal there. I left that place wanting to pass out into a food coma. It was the only Baked Alaska I've had, but I have no complaints about it. It's definitely the dessert for someone with a definitive sweet tooth. I'm sure you can get just the dessert if you sit in their bar area.
Baked Alaska is wonderful. We still have a traditional steak house where i live that has been making it since the 1950's and it never goes out of style. The place is old school and very classy, Baked Alaska finishes the meal nicely. Great food is never out of style!
