Going to be in Vegas the first of next week. Looking to hear from anyone who has recently been in Vegas. Any chance of finding $3 games on the strip or will I need to head downtown? Was thinking hooters or the trashy castle may have some $3 games.

Yeah, I know. I played my first game of craps ever at that $3 table.

I can believe it, you can't get anything on the strip for $3 anymore. Even a coke a sit down restaurant costs atleast $3.25. The strip is not a place for the frugal gambler, that's what downtown is for and for nostalgia buffs thankfully downtown has that going for them to keep it around.

The trashy castle (Excalibur, officially) operates a $5.00 game most times, but will jack it up to $10.00 minimum (both tables) during busy periods.

Ditto Hooters - $5.00 game most times.

The Fremont, downtown, has a single $3.00 table which is advertised as being so 24/7. It's always crowded. And as I recall they'll even book $3.00 place bets on the 6 & 8 and pay the proper $3.50 for them as well.

    Good luck and best wishes.
