Best places to people-watch along the strip? Preferably with a beer?

    Can be inside or out.

Patio at Cabo Wabo PH is my favorite. I have seen it all from there, fights, arrests, freaks, wrecks, you name it.

On the raised little balcony area outside of Margaritaville. Tons of people walking by, and great drinks at Margaritaville.

Second the little area by Margaritaville, Ive met some colorful characters standing there sipping a beer or maragrita many a times!

Downtown I like the Rush Lounge balcony at Golden Nugget, great place to watch folks wander around Fremont st!

Agreed. Last time at CW was January 8th, a Wednesday. Between 2pm-11pm we saw hot topless women giving pictures for $5, all the characters are right in front of you, 2 accidents on the street, one with a motorcycle cop, 3-4 fights,
people getting sick, and a host of other interesting events.

I have to agree with the outside patio at Cabo Wabo, we sat at the bar that runs along the edge, some decent fajitas, beer/drinks it was fantastic. You see the fountains, people, street performers. We sat there people watching for a really long time.

The little landing at Margaritaville is great as mentioned.

My other favorite is to hang out about 10 minutes before the Bellagio Fountain Show starts, and watch everyone come in. Quite the melting pot I tell ya. :evillaugh

My favorite time to people watch is early morning, and honestly anywhere on the Mid & South Strip. This is the time to see the morning 'walk of shame' of many coeds holding their high heels walking back from whatever club they were at the day before.

If you want to camp out, you can take a seat at Sully's Bar at Bally's. grab a Bloody Mary or 2 around 8am and watch the people leaving Drai's. I did that a couple of times on my last trip. Quite entertaining.

    THIS!

It's center strip in an elevated position to see it all!

Arc bar right outside paris is also good.

The railing right outside of Margarativille at the Flamingo. Very relaxing!

Margaritaville leads 6 to 5 over Cabo Wabo with a few honorable mentions! It's down to the wire :) I find Mville viewing is more of a flow of people while CW viewing is more static with people milling about watching the characters and doing stupid stuff.

    Another vote for Margaritaville.

I will say however, that the aforementioned morning people watching is surprisingly the best. It is without a doubt better than the evenings.

The walk of shame is classic and oh so apparent. And entertaining.
