Hi All, I was just wondering how close together can you book Total Rewards offers? Let's say I have multiple offers that are valid for a month. LEt say (for arguments sake, offer 1 is for two free nights and $100 FP. And offer 2 is two free nights and $100 FP. I book on say March 1st-3rd the first offer, when can I book the 2nd? Thanks!
yup the only way around it is not to use your tr number. you can try calling but you cant book on line
I have a question about this, not trying to hijack a thread though. So I don't have any official offers but if I click "Las Vegas" and pick dates it shows me a chart of all the hotels and prices and most are comped mid week. Yesterday booked a Sunday and Monday night in Feb at the Flamingo as a comped room. Now today when I look at April it's still showing that I can get comped rooms. Can I book the April trips or will that "offer" go away after my trip next month? Comps are a whole new world to me.
You can book the April trip now. Those CET rates on that calendar change all the time. It can be comped one day, then not the next, then back to comped yet again. So if you see a good rate you want, take it.
Sorry... this thread offers confusing answers. Some people call free rooms an offer. Sort of true, but not always. Though you normally can not book back to back offers, you can book back to back rooms. The computer will not let you check out of Paris on Tuesday and into Rio on Tuesday because it thinks you are double booking. Book the best offer you can find. Then call in to add nights. Some people have actually been able to book one offer right after the other. Wish people would stop quoting the 72 hours thing.
Let me clarify further: With CET, most players can have five nights consecutive at combination of hotels comped, either through offers or the calendar. You would need a live reservation agent to book back to back with in the five nights. After the five nights comped, the 72 hour window kicks in. For a higher level player, the cap is probably higher for number of consecutive nights and I can see ways they could keep a micro roller from getting five nights together but that's the gist of it. It differs from Mlife as they will have a waiting period between comp offers no matter how many nights you book. With them, you could book two nights and then have to wait to make another offer reservation.
I have booked three free nights online then called in about getting a few extra nights added and it has worked fine. Have not been able book multiple offers online for the same month before, which makes sense.
I have two offers for rooms and free show tickets that I want to use on my next trip. My host said there was a 48 hour time limit between offers but he would see what he could do. Not sure how he did it but we have conf # for both shows and one conf # for the five nights.
Based on play, they can comp one of the deals. Or sometimes actually book the back to back deals. But, not usually.
Definitely based on play. But I don't think the host is necessarily booking the deals you received in the mail. The host is trying to accommodate their client by making an appropriate pre-comp. IMO, "I'm not sure I can do that," means, "I have to get this pre-comp approved by my boss." All the mailers look the same to me. Casino, Gamble, Drink, Fun, You know you want to. We get lots of them in the mail, but only use them as guidelines for what we think we can get. Then we email our host with our wants and she makes it happen. Also keep in mind that those mailers are based on your tier level, but all players in the same tier are not considered equal. My advice: Ask for what you want, see what you can get. Your mileage may vary.
I am sure you guys are right because something sure happened near the end of the year. Last quarter I made three trips to Vegas, Bossier City once and Tunica once. Some winning and some losing. Pretty much even until the last trip of the year which was a good winner. Feb 2013, I moved from .25 and .50 VP to $5 VP to make Diamond in two days. Since then I've played mostly $1, $2, $5 VP, made a bunch more points in 2013 and actually did better on the win/loss overall. In the last couple months, I've gotten offers for Celine or Britney, Shania Twain, Jerry Sienfeld and a couple days ago, Elton John. Also free play offer amounts have jumped and I got NYE, Valentines Day and March Madness offers. Guess they want the money back I won and are trying to entice me back.....It is working.
