Heading to the Hard Rock with a buddy during the weekend of the mens college bball conference tourneys. We will be spending a lot of time in the SB of course and i wanted some honest feedback on how this SB is. I will travel to another SB If it sucks but i like to be able to hit my room for some booze during the action (not a High Roller obviously).

    Environment?
    Bet minimum for Drink tickets?
    Staff?
    Seat comfort?

Love the board and thanks for your opinions.....

    Yea! A Hard Rock Question!!!

As the President, Chief Cheerleader and Sole Member (I think) of the VMB's Hard Rock Lover's Club... please allow me first-crack at fielding this one.

Here's a good picture (see link) of the SportBook... standard Cantor design. There's a small bar-area to the side of it (just inside the front-doors) that has some high-boy tables and seating that's kinda nice as well. I can't help ya with comp drinks for bets, as I have an account with Cantor and always use my IPad for the bets, even when on property. It has a decent crowd for major events... the hotel sells out for March Madness. Ambiance? It doesn't have bunch grizzled, old dudes chompin' on cigars with horse-racing forms... I like that.

A really nice comfortable place to view the games is Ainsworth Bar, just a few steps away from the SB. It's not very large though and fills-up quickly.

My favorite place to watch games is at the Luxe Bar, located in The HRH Tower. It's far less crowded then the "famous" Circle Bar in the main casino. The service is FANTASTIC and the TV's are large, close and crystal clear. Pictures of the bar show up here:

I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year (suspect they will), but they usually put some really large screens in The Joint (concert venue) and have a March Madness Party. One price covers all you can eat and drink.

Hope you have a great time!!! :peace:
