Table Games Roulette

Whats everyone's strategies or ways they like to play? I usually bet all the numbers in the second 12 or I will choice a set of 10-12 numbers on one section of the wheel and bet those. Sometimes it works others it doesn't work at all. Last three times to the casino I did come away with winning in the 200$ + range from these strategies but of course my luck will run out!

 

I bet X on two numbers in the same line, and then X on that line. If one of the numbers hits then its a good payday, if any number in the line hits then its a push.

Allows me to play awhile, I play the same two numbers for the entire session.


I sometimes play the complete bet on two adjacent numbers in the middle line, but only on the digital with $0.25 units

 

On the tables the last time I played two days ago I was putting 5 bucks on four sets of numbers but 3 different sets. I hit twice then was able to bet on the second 12 alittle more and hit 4 bucks on 21 and 23 in two spins then I cashed out fast since I was up over 200$. I use to play blackjack when I first went to Vegas but haven't played since the 2nd or 3rd time I went. For whatever reason its not fun for me and Id rather spread my 10 dollar bet out over 10 numbers then just the dealer getting 20 or blackjack everytime.

 

I have 3 ways I like to play, with the 3rd really just being a combo of the first 2.


1) Pick a number or 2 and then place a chip on those numbers + every bet around that number. So 1 number(say 5) would include the 5 and the 9 places right around that chip If 5 comes up, every one of those bets win.


2) I play 2 of the thirds. Like 1-12 + Column 2.



3) A mix of the 2 where I'm just playing 1 third + 4-5 chips in the middle. It is rare I play this in Vegas just because it requires a $5 min table. Not super rare, but not really common either.





In all of my strategies I just run through my money once and then decide if I want to do it again. So if I'm betting $10/spin with $100, I will be there for 10 spins. At which points I'll take my wins and see if I want to do that over.

 

The longest I ever played roulette was on a cruise ship where I bought in for $3k and kept putting $100 on the same number. I knew the odds of it not hitting in 30 spins were about 45% but with my buzz I figured I'd surely hit it at some point. Nope. Lost it all.

So I can at least eliminate that from the strategies I like playing.

 

I'll buy in with a hundred and maybe a couple 20's if I have a few loose ones at a $10 table.
I always cover the 0/00 with one each chip, splitting them (Love them,call me a 'dark side' Roulette player when a groan come out from the table,it's always a 0/00 ) and a couple other numbers straight up w/corners.
If when something besides the corners hits,I ask the dealer to be paid in regular chips.I'll let the original stacks dwindle down to the last bet.No more multiple stacks that eventually could wipe out any winnings,done that too many times!

Roulette is such a hit and run game,I've learned my lessons that if you are lucky enough to hit your numbers 3 out of 5 or so spins.That's about as good as it gets..I also double up on any hit and when the repeater number comes up,That is the highlight.
And to save a few bucks,after the dealers count your bets a couple spins,going down to $8 or $9 a spin a few times a session can add up to another basic spin on your original numbers. And I tip after a decent hit esp. if dealer is placing the same bet other end of the table for me.

 

Ouch Kickin'...I once blew $400 chasing the 32 in AC one night..4 buy-ins of $100 over the course of 4 different sessions same wheel...I'd leave for awhile and pass the table and ask any familiar player left at it if the 32 hit and the answer or board always said no..So of course after being down that much now you have to have at least $10 on it to break even!
Went to bed pissed off at being so stupid (Lots of beers) and second hand in on 3 card poker next morning,hit a SF for exactly $400..
One thing I learned about that experience is safer money mngmt when having a few too many..

 

Play the 5( heavier than the rest of the rest) . The X the number touching the 5. Play the middle "street" the 5 is on. Also play the numbers boarding the 5 on the wheel.17 and 22 on the double 0. Does it work?? Like anything else gambling ( or even playingon the free sites) its hit or miss.

 

Only time in Vegas I played twice daily on the $5 tables in O'Sheas and Flamingo and just picked 6 numbers (birthdays etc.) and stuck $1 on each. No real strategy I know but worked for me. Bought in for $50 and I'd say out of 8 sessions, 2 I lost everything and the rest I walked away with $100+ each time with a max of $250 or so.

Something I found intriguing was that on a number of different tables in a number of places the numbers 28 and 31 seemed to come up a hell of a lot. Added these to the 6 numbers I had so was playing $8 a spin. Think I won more on 28 and 31 than the other numbers put together! Back in Vegas in a couple of weeks and gonna see if 28 and 31 are still hot!

 

Last few times I've gone to AC (live about 45 mins from there) I've hit for over 200 on the video roulette machines. Last time I won big on a table was Vegas April '12 where I won 545 playing at harrahs at 1am. I was just betting my favorite numbers and numbers around them and getting extremely lucky. The last two minutes of that trip as my bag was in my hand ready to go to the airport I put ten bucks on 5 numbers around 17 and it came out one of those numbers! Largest I ever one at one spin. I tend to bet all second 12 nowadays which isn't the greatest strategy but I like most of those numbers and I will sometimes still bet on a string of 10 numbers.

 

I don't play often but when I do it's a $100 buyin and play $10 spins. I center the 22 (17/5/22/34/15 -- $2 on each). Hit once and I bump it to $10 on each and bump by $10 each time it hits.

If I don't hit 3 in a row over the course of playing I lose $100... hit 3 and leave with at least $150 profit. Normally a losing way (aren't they all) but I have hit 5x twice for $1600 profit.

 

Any way you play is losers, so it doesn't matter what your "system" is.

 

We all (including OP based on the end of his post) realize this... he is just looking for different ways to play

 

I saw a dude at the Beau Rivage, in Biloxi today lose $42k in about a half hour. He placed fifteen numbers straight up at $200 apiece. Each spin he risked $3k to win $7k minus his losses of $2,800 for a net gain of $4,200. Incredibly in 14 spins not one of the same 15 numbers he was playing hit. After he tapped out the dealer, after some prompting, told us he started out earlier in the day with $25 bets, on the same numbers, won a little and lost it and then chased his losses by throwing good money after bad. This is a prime example of how systems will eventually come home to roost, eventually, and when they do they are devastating. The dealer told us he dropped between $70k-$80k during the day. The worst part was that he showed absolutely no emotion. In my mind he was in it just for the action, a true addict.

 

Similarly to what someone has previously said, i generally play the outside bets and will cover two out of the three columns or thirds. You can build it up nicely if you can keep it going for as long as you can.

I also like to dump some money on a single number on my way to check out, in the last few trips this has been whatever money i have left (minus a cab fare to the airport). Last time i put $150 on 36 and 0 came in, so couldn't have been further away in some respects!!
