Heritage at Mirage -any news?

Has anyone heard anything recently about the Heritage restaurant opening at Mirage? We're curious if it might be open during our upcoming trip. Even if it's not, my guess would be that Tom Coliccio would be around, and it might be fun to catch a peek of him! We'll be there August 5-9.

 

The opening was delayed until sometime in August. So you might get lucky and catch the opening or maybe a preview.

If Chef Coliccio is there, post right away so I can run over and meet him too!

 

I tweeted Tom Collichio a few weeks ago and he said that opening is scheduled for the third week in August.

 

Thanks! We'll keep our eyes out for anything exciting going on. I'm sure if they were to do any soft opening or anything, though, it would be for high rollers. I don't think our $40/day of penny slots qualifies!

 

I was at Craft in LA last week and their GM who I know was in LV training staff for this new venue. Should be a good one and it will pull me in to the Mirage next time I stay at an MGM prop.

 

Vegas Chatter is reporting an August 19 opening. I'll try to hit it up over my Labor Day trip. I have a bunch of EC's I need to use before they go away - I was thinking Craftsteak for my steak dinner, but I might as well give the new joint a whirl.
