I've probably stayed at The Orleans about 10 times. Believe it or not, not once have I been to their pool(s). I've googled imaged and found a few pictures but there is nothing on their website. Does anybody know if there is a wading pool? 1-3' deep for little kids?

    Thanks!

The last time I was there it was heated.
The pool itself is not very deep, but it is large enough so swimming is usually possible.
I like the Jacuzzi. It is not this tiny pool but a circular bit of water around faux rocks. Generally, there is plenty of space.
while you need a key sometimes to get in at the main door, the door to the bathroom on one side is usually open so you can use the bathroom and then get back in again.

I just took a friend there on Thursday to show him the pool. He was looking for someplace for a family, and I suggested it. The pool area is great, but it was fairly packed full on Thursday early afternoon. The nice thing is that even when packed, you have space to move your chair to where you are not butt to face with someone else. That is my biggest complaint about the pool at the Golden Nugget.

Orleans pool is great, If I remember, it is mostly (over 50%) in the shade till around noon. For smokers, you can only smoke up beside the bar area.

Is the Orleans pool open year round? If not, what months is it open?

I agree with alamode36 (love the pixs!). On my previous trip, I caught some rays and read a book with a Pina Colada ^^
