Bet amount per hand for 3/4 card poker?

Hello, I stumbled across this board while researching info about comparisons between TR and M life. I'm currently a platinum TR player (and usually travel to Vegas with my brother and his wife who are both diamond). We have recently been considering a switch to MGM properties as the CET properties seem to be going downhill.

While opinions naturally vary, the general consensus seems to be that CET is better for low rollers and slot players, while MGM is better for mid to high level table players. I think that I fall somewhere in the middle of this spectrum....I travel to Vegas twice a year, usually bringing about $2000 in gaming funds for a 4 night trip. My $500 per day is spent almost exclusively at 3 card and crazy 4 poker (mostly crazy 4). A typical day for me will be 2-4 hours at the tables, betting $10-per-circle. Am I better off staying with CET? Would I be able to get on the radar with MGM?

Finally, I've read numerous posts stating that MGM casinos will not rate your play unless you are betting at least $25 per hand. However, these posts are all talking about BJ, which I do not play. If I'm playing $10-per-circle 3 card ($20 on the table to start, $30 if you play) or crazy 4 ($30 on the table to start, $40 or $60 if you play), what is my average bet per hand considered to be? Do I qualify for the $25 per hand minimum to be rated with MGM?

That's more than enough to be rated and you'll probably be better off at MGM with any kind of table play.

 

I am 7* at CET and Noir at MGM. CET is NOT set up well for large table game players in my mind. Their comp system sucks compared to MGM, which in turn is becoming suckier, but I digress.

 

Soon the best comps will be playing 2 card hide the sausage with the housekeeping staff.

For MGM though, as long as all the bets add up to $25 they rate you - at least what I was told after I dropped the mortgage payment on roulette in 5 minutes and wanted to cool down.

 

Thanks for the responses. So I guess they consider $10-per-circle at 3 card to be a $30 bet? Or maybe $25, since they figure half the time you play, half the time you fold?
