    Saturday update #2:

    The good luck continues!

After breakfast, I walked downstairs and played my promo chips at roulette. I turned $2k in fake money into $800 in real money. I can live with that!

Then I walked over to the craps table and guessed correctly (pass or no pass) on five of the first six points. After that, it was choppy, but after an hour and a half, I was up another $3800.

Finally, I went to play bac. The dealer I prefer was just coming on his shift so i sat down and started playing. Another really good run! No real long streaks, but I got lucky on guessing player versus bank and pressed a few bets at the right times. An hour later, up another $7k! Finally, I plugged $500 into a vid poker machine, played for about twenty minutes and quit after back to back full houses (I was playing JoB; I really don;t know how to make vid poker play sound interesting; I basically prssed buttons; yay).

So going to take a quick break and schedule some stuff for the Vegas trip next week. The $70k goal is in sight!!!

Incredible run but setting a target goal like that can be dangerous. You're up 60k, how much are you willing to risk to win another 10k just so you can hit an arbitrary goal of 70k? What if you give it back chasing that 10k?

If I were you'd I'd bank 50k of winnings and go play with the rest. Then this trip is guaranteed to be up 60k +/- 10k which means you're guaranteed to have a nice cushion for Vegas next week.

Nice Work UKfan, too bad about the cats last night, hoping they have a chance to get into the play in game in Dayton, would be a nice game to see before heading out next week. As a Lexington native, will be a weird site to see vegas next week without UK in the dance, they usually represent at least 15% of the crowd.

I would agree with the previous posts, I cant count how many times I have set a goal and gotten so close, just to give it all back (of course missing a zero on my goals usually lol).

Anyway good luck with the rest of the afternoon and thanks for the updates, with Nate out glad to see someone doing well and getting the vibe on the right side for next week

Oh and cracked up about your Nashvegas reference in earlier posts, I always refer to lexington as Lexvegas (due to the beautiful UK women)

    The Final Report:

So after my report earlier today, I hit the tables a bit more, but did recognize that I really should bank my winnings. So knowing I would have to get up at 6am to drive home and work tomorrow, I got an idea: play until 6:30 and then leave a night early! That way, I could avoid the temptation of gambling all night and then struggling thru a Sunday workday. Seemed like a decent idea.....

One problem, when i realized 6:30 was appraoching, I decided to bet larger because I knew I would be leaving! Totally ignored the fact that I would be gambling again later in the week in Vegas (or could still stay the night in Tunica). So by the time I got the bac table at 5, things got a bit out of hand.

Started by betting $600 a hand. Then it went up to $1000 a hand. Then it went up to $5000 a hand. you can see where this is going. By 6, I had given back $50k of the money I had spent two days winning  But then it turned! Not sure why or how. Wait, yes I do. A long player streak followed by a long bank streak! somehow got it all back and then some. And learned my lesson ....... at least until next time.

Stopped at exactly 6:30, cashed all my chips, packed up, and drove home. I'm typing this final report from my home. In the end, somehow, remarkably, I came home with $88k of the casino's money. I can't imagine I will ever have a run like that again. $60k is going directly to the bank so I can't do anything foolish with it.

Now, I'm considering bailing on Vegas. I am tired and gambled out. I thought I would leave Tunica with $10k if I was lucky. Might not be the best week for another long trip! We shall see. Thanks for all the readers and encouragement! :faint:

Well done. I'd imagine that taking home almost $90,000 doesn't make anyone in those Mississippi casinos happy.

Do you have higher limits then the norm? It's been a while I don't remember what the bac table maximums are.

LOL an 88k win...sounds like a lucky number. That's crazy, from bottom to top on that last day you won 138k :faint:

Congrats on the incredible runs. Seriously each one was insane. You basically had an epic comeback every single day!

EDITED TO ADD: Holy crap I just realized you made that 138k in only half an hour! How big were your bets? Baccarat always felt like such a slow game to me.

I don't. Thought about asking, but haven't had much need to yet. The bac limit at GoldStrike is $10k

Oh no, to clarify: I gave back $50k of the money I was already up ($50k of house money). If I had given back all the house money in my last couple hours, there was no way I was going back in to my own bankroll. But, things like that will happen when you're betting $5k or more a hand! Got a bit more out of control than I would normally play. Only did it because it was house money. Got lucky

After sleeping on it last night, I've decided I am still going to vegas this week, but I've decided to shorten the trip. Originally, I was going to arrive Wednesday night and stay until early Monday. Now, I'm still going to arrive Wednesday night, but I am going to leave at 5 on Saturday. It will be my shortest MM trip ever (usually I stay until Sunday night or Monday morning). But I am already burned out and the friends that were supposed to travel to Vegas with me have bailed. By Wednesday night, I'll be fired up again. But after three nights, I think I will be ready to go home

Oh yeah, duh! I knew that when I read it so don't know why my brain was thinking you went from -50k to +88k. Still baller as hell to win 88k in 30 minutes. Big congrats! Don't even think about skipping out on Vegas. You're on an incredible lucky streak so keep striking while the iron is hot.

Nice ride UK...I know that feeling of not wanting to tempt fate after a big upswing like that. However, always remember that the dice/cards have no memory. You're not anymore likely to win or lose than you were before the last trip. If the dice/cards have no memory, you shouldn't either. I find I'm far more likely to bump up my betting level in chasing losses if I'm feeling flush from a big win. I've paid more than $10k many times learning that lesson. Have fun in Vegas, looking forward to that TR as well.

Holy shit I just read your whole tr at once. The term roller coaster is often used and I found this one the strangest ride ever. You went up up and and I was thinking please don't crash and burn like nate and then you went up more but then you went down and I was like oh no. But luckily you pulled up on time and won in the end. :nworthy: well done! Hope I still can fall asleep now with this adrenaline running

ps stupid me thought your name meant United Kingdom fanatic
