I used to frequent Palms Place often. Initially, the main reason was because that balconies were huge and were perfect for smoking. In recent years, however, the Palms Place balconies are locked.

Does anyone know of any hotels that still allow you to go out on the balconies ?

Cosmo for sure. And the Wrap Around is amazing!

I believe the Quad (IP) still does.

Not sure about anything in between!

Harrah's and The Quad. They aren't huge though.

I had a standard Harrah's room last trip that I hardly used, but I don't remember any balcony.

    Riviera has them.

Tropicana has them on their garden rooms (currently closed)
Sahara (soon to be SLS) had them on one of their towers, though from the looks of the renderings I've seen, they may glass them in to make the room bigger.

Riviera has them on one bedroom suites and up, and the south facing rooms offer nice strip views.

Tropicana garden rooms are now back in action, the ones they did not implode. I was hoping bucket would pop in to give us the news :)

Not the classic. I believe Luxury rooms do (classic w/ a view) and for sure know Premium rooms do (stayed in one in Aug.

Unsure whether you're only interested in hotels with gambling facilities, but The Platinum Hotel has usuable balconies - they even have chairs and tables on them (however i'm pretty certain you're not allowed to smoke on them)

If you need a gambling fix though you've got Ellis Island just next door ;) (or Ballys is at the very most, a ten minute walk away)

Garden rooms at Tropicana now appear to be called 1 King Balcony or 1 King Balcony Pool, depending on which way you're facing. No mention of them on TropLV site but they show up when you go to booking, which is now through Hilton.
