I got a total rewards credit card a few months ago and through purchases I have got about 10,000 points so far. My question is when I go to Vegas in march what can I comp, how much can I expect, and how to redeem the points. My total rewards "players card" has maybe only 10 points from short trip to Biloxi. I am also staying at Luxor so no need for comp room. I only got credit card because i could not hit a total rewards casino every 6 months and kept losing points. Anyone thoughts or suggestions if I should keep card? I also think I will use it for NCL cruises. Thanks in advance.
Your 10,000 pts. are equal to $100 and can be used toward any CET owned restaurant or CET owned stores. You just present the card at the time of purchase and they will deduct the total from the available balance. Also you need to be aware that as of 4/1, the Bank of America and CET will end the cc relationship, so you may need to find another way to preserve your pts. if you can't get to a local casino.
wow! Thanks for heads up. I did not know that on April 1st with BOA....wow. Maybe I try for a mgm credit card. Good to know it equals roughly $100....much appreciated.
One more question you may or may not know. If I am going to march madness could I use that amount to pay for part of the Planet Hollywood watch party on the Mezz?
I didn't know MGM had a cc affiliation. I'll have to google this as we are also going to lose out on the TR cc.
Yikes! no MGM connection anymore.....what about Boyd? Maybe my rewards casino/credit card may come to an end.....I may just stick with my Southwest card. Thanks again for all the info!
Briny - I am changing my daughters use for a card at college to my SW card myself. For our personal use I have my Chase card which is cash back. I just redeem before I go on a trip & get cash in pocket for tips, cabs, etc.
Just got back from LV. My host said the relationship with CET and Bank of America will end in March. She believed CET will work with another bank and issue a new credit card with same point system. Stay tuned.
